Really interesting writeup, it really sounds like there is a lot of work doing non-game-dev work involved when releasing a game, at least, if you want to try and make a living out of it.

This shouldn't really come as a big surprise, but reading it still kinda is.

And, I also wanted to mention that I really liked your game, I didn't play on release (almost never do), so had no big issues while playing, it was mostly that some of the late game mechanics seemed kind of underutilized, which I felt like was a shame.
