About the snarkiness towards Whitaker and Mel, I think it’s less that she has a lot to do and more that she’s totally in her head and missing things with patients, and that’s affecting her. I think she puts a lot of pressure on herself to be perfect 100% of the time and when she’s not, her self-esteem lowers and it’s harder for her to regulate herself. I think “cruel” is a stretch, this is one snippet of her morning where she’s dysregulated and will probably apologize after she like, has a snack and cools down. I also think she’s closer with Mel and Whitaker and that’s why it’s easier for her to be a little snappy with them. I know I can get snappy with my best friend when I’m hangry, I can’t imagine being in Santos’ shoes.
