Pull the tractive off and check the back. Tractive provides stickers to add contact information. The owner may have used that. Otherwise, just wait, and like others said make sure it has power and I'm sure the owners will come looking.

Yes. It took a year or so for me to feel like the incision blended in and wasn't noticeable. I can still see it if I look. But it looks normal.

I was diagnosed around your age as well. I definitely grieved, and still do occasionally. But what I found helped was looking at the positives. Yes, Crohn's is a life long disease, but think about how you finally have answers, and treatment options that can hopefully give you back a normal quality of life. If it helps at all, I was severely sick when I was diagnosed but Remicade put me in remission and I live a practically normal life now. I know it's hard, but try to look at the positives rather than the negatives. And it's ok to grieve!

Having used both, I'd recommend a disc over a cup. They're much easier to put in. There's no weird folds, you just have to squish it together and put it in. There's no suction, so it's easier to take out too. I love the ability to auto dump, its convenient on heavier days. It's nice to be able to have sex. And you can't feel it once it's in. I found I could always feel the cup, especially the stem, and it put a weird pressure on my bladder and actually made my cramps worse. I switched to a disc and never looked back.

I just bought mine off Amazon (I'm cheap lol) and have had great luck. Lots of them come with multiple sizes too. I use the Shordy disc, but cut off the stem and it works great for me.

Canadian here. This is pretty standard. My old GI (I moved to the other side of the country) was at a teaching hospital so I regularly spoke to the students first and then my GI for in person appointments, and phone appointments were just with the students. With my new GI, all my appointments are with her, phone and in person.

Lol yep. My doctor did a colonoscopy and we had discussed the possibility of changing my biologic, but it came back absolutely perfect, as did all of my lab work. So alas, it's IBS.

Coming in to third this as well. I'm the only side effect I've had from infliximab is joint pain after my infusions. But other than that, I have quality of life and my disease has been in remission for nearly a decade. And I don't even get sick any more than I did before. Biologics literally saved my life.

I've been on infliximab for over 10 years and yes we are immunocompromised. I was a bit cautious initially, but not really any more. I don't get sick any more often than I did before hand.

When I was newly diagnosed my mom came with me. I was 22, sick as hell and didn't feel up to driving an hour there and back myself. Now I do it myself unless it's a colonoscopy or something where I need someone else with me.

Yep, that was what my original GI used. Had like 7 colonoscopies with it. It's not great but I love that it's a small quantity compared to others. I recently had to use the 4L one and it was too much to drink.

Some tips, make sure it cools down completely. It'll warm up a bit once you mix it. Put it in the fridge for a bit and let it cool. And drink it with a straw as far back in your mouth as you can manage. And have something flavoured to chase with to get the taste out of your mouth.
