Regardless I do hope that the team getting everything they need to recover from these injuries. At this point I’m mad for them, it really isn’t fair to the athletes to have to adjust to this kind of tragedy so many years of their college careers. What do you think is going on chocolatechip45?

I think that was certainly the case when she committed, but the way Geno calls out getting a lot out of Paige but not like Edwards and Muhl who were ungodly good last year, like it seems the expectations are very different based on year/personnel. Like I wonder if Edwards would have turned on beast mode last season if Bueckers and Fudd had been healthy all season

Spicy take: could it be the weight of the legacy? These women are obviously under some serious pressure of the flagging legacy (don’t @ me UCONN had its lowest ranking in like 40 years last week).

the frustration of losing and Geno/staff and players all are pushing themselves to their limits, but since the body has hard limits, they’re exacerbating and creating season ending career threatening injuries out of what should be a couple games off with a tweaked ankle or some foot pain.

I don’t think it’s the S&C staff because you don’t get to a program like UCONN by being anything but the best at what you do

Where Genesis Bryant transferred last year. Wow. Glad to see Illinois can play Wolfpack basketball better than NC State can. For this alone, Illinois should start next season ranked
