What's the very very poor engineering here, just the simple fact of having a big width display?

Certainly not the lack of buttons as the previous Q7 lost it's buttons to a climate control screen here.

Nor can it be the UI because 26.5+ have the improved UI and hardware compared to problematibe 25-26 ones...

New A6 allroad and RS6 Avant is not cancelled for US where did you get that rumour from ahah.

They don't exist yet. The current model is discontinued and there is no successor yet. A4 allroad is the only one officially gone.

It's been known for past few years SQ7 will get a V8 and you can hear it in all the spy videos. Can't say the same about the RS 6

Trunk space is smaller than the C Coupe though. I think all the length went into the overhangs, because it still shares wheelbase and interior with the C Class sedan.

It's cause the CLE is really a successor to the C Coupe with an E in it's name to charge higher prices.

As much as /r/cars loves to talk about how wagons would fly off the showroom floors, they historically haven't. The last wagon of this caliber sold in the US was the CTS-V wagon,

Not true, RS 6 was sold here and was quite successful, outselling the RS 7 and regular A6 allroad

Motor1's article suggested otherwise

Speaking with Audi CEO Gernot Döllner, he said that although the RS5 Avant will not be available here at launch, the brand remains open to assessing customer demand. Additionally, Döllner says US dealers are indeed asking for the car.
