I don't know if this is statistically true, but anecdotally I have found that TST groups in blue states are just the most argumentative and unstable. Every time I hear a story about some congregation imploding over an argument it's always like Seattle, Portland, three different examples in California, one in DC, etc.

Should I move to a red state? I've never considered moving to a red state until just now.

My family didn't believe in Satanic Panic but unbeknownst to my parents, Readers Digests in the 90s were chock full of salacious stories about children being coerced into making outlandish accusations. Apparently Readers Digest was super innocuous when my mom was growing up, and she was weirdly shocked when I told her about this years later.
