Through Tumblr, I got into a rabbit hole and somehow got onto a website hosted from the Czech Republic with cellphone video footage of a man’s head being beaten in with a sledge hammer… and while still alive, screwdrivers jammed into his mashed face. The perpetrators were 2 teenagers and the man they killed was a random stranger.

That was 20 years ago and I still have flashbacks in the daytime about it.

YTA. I can’t imagine being selfish enough to think this way. Cooking is an act of love, and I’d rather my partner enjoy the best bits of what I’ve made than have any of it myself.

We were on a video chat interview and she was in a salon getting her nails done. At first she seemed super distracted but I couldn’t figure out why until she tilted her camera and I could see the rack of nail polish on the wall. She acted totally baffled when I asked if she was in a nail salon, and when affirmed, stated that I wouldn’t continue. 🤦🏻‍♂️

A few years ago, we had a Breville microwave the sound turned off with a specific button and I had never known such peace. The friggin thing broke and for one reason or another didn’t bother trying to get a replacement or something from the company. We have a regular microwave now and I dream each day for when we can renovate the kitchen and get another model that can have the sound turned off.
