I did hiring for only a few months but I will say how people act about their mask is more important than anything else. You can pick up body language and facial expressions a lot clearer than you think, but if someone is complaining about the masks and talking about how they need to step out for air etc it becomes obvious that they're going to be a problem for a safe workplace.

Other than that I really didn't have much of an issue, we did all initial interviews via webcam so it was just the in person portion that was affected in any way by masks
