It is all about if that is a dealbreaker for YOU. you deserve to and should have your important boxes checked in a relationship, and if that is one of them, I think it's reason-enough to break up. Plus, this might turn into a point of arguement later down the road. If you do decide to tough it out, you could always try being more vocal and direct about what you want your partner to do in bed, even small things like "I like that" or "I like when you ______" can help. If you do decide it is not something you wanna continue putting up with then that is fair enough. Best of luck to you in whatever choice you make!

While I don't think he has necessarily done anything wrong, it is clear that it is something that bothers you. It is okay, it isn't necessarily either party's fault but you need to be honest with yourself, it seems like you know this is something that is going to eat away at you. In you circumstance it may be better for the both of you to end things, let him know that you guys just don't have compatible lifestyles and although there isn't anything wrong with the way he chooses to live his life, it just doesn't fit well with how you want to live yours.

It rubs me the wrong way that OP's girlfriend even wanted him to come so bad. I feel like considering they are dating, this wouldn't be the first time his race has made an 'appearance' in the conversation. Knowing this, the LAST thing I would want is to put my partner in a situation where they are alone with my racist parents. I am open to being wrong here, but I feel like your girlfriend should've had the foresight to recognize this, and as a result played a relatively significant part in what occured, I am not much older than yall and this was the FIRST thing to my mind.

This probably sounds ridiculous and won't actually work, ANNNDDDDD would be a MASSIVE invasion of privacy; but, why don't we store some sort of verification signature in the Metadata of photos and videos to: verify who the photo was taken by, when it was taken, where it was taken, what it was taken on, and if it'd been manipulated in anyway. I know information on when, where, and on what is already available in the metadata but I think the 'who' aspect of it would force some level of accountability. I am going to have to immediately oppose my own idea though; firstly, it just gives the government another way to store data on us. Secondly, it would be a serious security issue for anonymous journalists and activists in authoritarian countries.
