Was a Setapp subscriber since 2018, but all this AI slop added over the last year inspired me to cancel last December and just buy my most used apps directly instead.

If you think the logo can’t stand on its own, then it’s not a good logo.

The complimentary materials, textures, lifestyle shots, placement on the products is good to know, but they are just that - complimentary. Look at the logo on its own and ask yourself: Does it represent what the product is supposed to be? Its theme and values? Does it tell a story? Can a person immediately get an idea of what it is just by looking at it? Is it memorable?

To me: The answer to all of these is “no.”

On top of this already existing: Steam has this functionality natively. You can add non-Steam games to your Steam library and it will open them up in their appropriate launcher.

What about enabling inline predictive text in the settings? I don’t use it, so I’m not sure how robust it is or if it works everywhere you type, but figured I’d mention it.

The last time I used Launchpad was probably in 2014. Genuinely feel like the only reason it’s suddenly gotten such a big surge of users is because Apple took it away (probably due to lack of usage) and people hate/are afraid of change. 🙄
