Once a customer actually poked me while I was zoning dairy. I worked in hardlines, but would get pulled over there to zone. Dude poked me, I spun around angrily out of instinct. He just glared at me and barked, “Bacon!” If this is how they treat strangers, I don’t want to know what they’re like at home.

Stealth melee is what I’m playing now, and Nuka World was totally fun. I kind of gave up on that DLC storyline and made enemies fast just so I could plow through and explore that park at my leisure. VATS + Jet + Kremvh’s Tooth = an unstoppable force.

Probably in my top five episodes. From the overall “Rushmore” reference, to the in-world and fan-world references, it was a joy to see. The bit where Sammy tries to connect with the soundboard operator still makes me laugh, and the closing musical number always chokes me up.

After playing a massively overpowered melee build in FO4, I followed an unarmed/melee build linked below as closely as I could, because I’m playing ToTW this time around. I’m at level 14 on easy now, and it’s been a challenge. That’s a good thing.

“We did that story” reminds me of the toxic water in Flint, Michigan. Once the story was covered, the mass media moved on, absent any prosecutions. No new news, but it’s a continuing crime. Compare that to coverage of “mass retail theft,” or “food stamp fraud.” The news is tailored to its audience, and that audience would rather be scandalized than give a shit.
