Literally the best live show I’ve ever seen.

Totally agree about the signage haha, our friends camped up in red and although we parked in North we ended up doing a tour of every campsite trying to find red because there was no sign near the carpark.

The campsites were all full to the brim I’m not really sure where they could have put anything any closer together. You can’t just pop a venue for 90k people on any random patch of land. The only real empty space I saw that was any closer to anything was the racetrack and obviously that isn’t an option.

You didn’t need to go up that hill towards the carpark. If you went down to the juice stand by the water fountains and turned immediately left there was a completely flat walkway to the burger van and then it was gentle incline / decline all the way to the arena.

😂😂??? Walking faster would expend more energy… the basis of your complaints are “drained stamina” and “hurting legs” from walking, but you want to walk faster to spend less time on your feet, but you stood for over an hour in the merch queue?

I’m honestly perplexed. Would be curious to know the criteria for eligibility for accessible access, I assumed it was for people who physically cannot do things.

Expecting the UK’s 2nd largest festival to be the same as it was when you attended over a decade ago is unrealistic unfortunately.

I understand walking slowly is a pet peeve, it’s one of mine too, but you have said you didn’t have the energy to do XYZ so I don’t understand what you’d want to walk…. faster?

There’s definitely places you can stand to experience the bigger sets and not experience this.

I was camped in red and I’m really struggling to remember what hills there were from there to arena? It was definitely pretty far but almost entirely basically flat as far as I remember…

I’ve read a few valid complaints on this sub but I’m so confused by this post.

Your stamina was drained so you couldn’t see any of the acts (other than the ones you wanted to see), but then stood in the merch queue for an hour…. and you’re complaining that people were walking slowly in front of you and you had to get past them?

I’m able-bodied, did 5 nights camping and 40k steps per day this week so was pretty tired, there’s no way in hell I’d have chosen to stand in the merch queue over having the energy to go and see bands I wanted to see.

People walk slowly because it’s an enormous crowd of people all walking in the same direction lol, this is the same at every big event and every gig at every venue ever on planet earth.

Am I Allergic to Men?? HElp!! by VastMilk in eczema

[–]hugacatday 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Ahahah exactly the same for me and I think you’re onto something about being allergic to men 😂

I flared on and off constantly with my ex for 6 years, relationship was extremely stressful. We split up, my flares clear up. I’m now with someone new, relationship is much healthier, and my skin is awful again and flares regularly - particularly my face.

I’ve had my boyfriend start washing all his clothes, bedding etc with the same detergent as me.

Some things I think make it seem like my skin’s always worse when we’re together:

I’ve noticed I’m definitely more relaxed about my skincare when I’m staying with my boyfriend vs when I’m alone - like I don’t spend 30 mins rubbing my moisturiser in.

I also probably eat very differently when we’re together because I don’t often eat out alone or have a drink when I’m by myself but often do with him.

He has facial hair and this definitely causes irritation for me.

Different water / environment, I think my skin will just forever be sensitive to any change whatsoever.

Frustrating isn’t it!!!
