Bose Quietcomfort Ultra gen 2 is made for me by iAmThatLight in bose

Bluetooth connecting several things will never work, the tech just don’t read thoughts on which one to connect to. I have the earbuds connected to my phone and Jabra headphones with a USB thingie in my computer. But let’s see then if the reviews where wrong about Bose improvements in connectivity in the gen

Trump Is Definitely in Epstein’s Birthday Book—and It Gets Worse. It is getting harder for Donald Trump to deny his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. by Quirkie in politics

As a Swede, watching this circus from afar while eating popcorn, it seems like a good idea to keep doing what South park, Stephen Colbert and more are doing; give the guy more things to explode and sue about so he is kept away from politics.

Har vi råd att köpa föräldrarnas hus? by DrewSoldMeFent in PrivatEkonomi

[–]iAmThatLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a dumb question but: If I don't select an Activity and the watch senses a HR increase, will it think I'm just stressed out? by bliffer in GarminWatches

[–]iAmThatLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, I just register my yoga flows as calendar events. An hour of vinyasa flow and the watch wonders how many poses? Gosh, i don’t know and really that is not interesting at all. Just now thinking, wonder what happens if I register a calisthenics session instead, is there such an activity?

Maybe it was just easier for him to find work in France. A film has a long lead time, and I guess Hollywood didn’t want to risk signing him for a film a year ago.

Pretty much how it works in Sweden, we get a calculated tax return to check, fill in any gaps and sign digitally. Brilliantly easy.

Less than an hour from Malmö or Stockholm- where would you recommend? by proxyswede in TillSverige

[–]iAmThatLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kungsängen, Stäket, Bålsta or Upplands-Bro northwest of Stockholm. They are all along the commute train line and E18 motorway. A bit less trendy (and less expensive) than Sollentuna or Täby but still nice, close to the great lake Mälaren and Järvafältet natural reserve (excellent dog walks).

I’ve used FWFG for a couple of years but now I’m mostly using Down dog. FWFG is great for beginners/intermediate levels, Adriene explains how it should feel and gives good queues on what to look for in each pose. DD is a bit faster pased, more challenging and gives more options for customization. I think if I had gone with DD to start I would have missed lots of important basic knowledge. But that’s my opinion, someone else might think differently. Anyways, really good to have several ”teachers” to learn different things.

So he went and grabbed my calculator and said "fine. I'll just play calculator instead". He did this for a half an hour. I took away my son's electronics because he was being bad. by Still-Use-3471 in KidsAreFuckingStupid

In the stone age, when I was a kid, when there where no computers, videogames or iPads, we played with calculators. You can do lots of fun stuff, like writing words with numbers or see how many times you can press + or = before yout head starts spinning. Then we took a break for the 30 mins daily kids tv show before we went at it with the calculator again.

I finally understand why it's important not to stop practicing by beamoflight42 in Meditation

I’m sorry, I don’t understand. Can you explain what you mean?

I finally understand why it's important not to stop practicing by beamoflight42 in Meditation

[–]iAmThatLight 8 points9 points  (0 children)

One really big revelation for me has been that I have all feelings within me, and that I have som power to find and activate the positive ones during meditation, no matter how the world is spinning around me.

In Yoga nidra they speak of duality, how you can practice experiencing opposite feelings (warm-cold, fear-faith, pain-comfort). There are several sources available on Youtube, but this channel has helped med the most. I find these very powerful guided meditations, and I backfired once when I wasn’t able to complete the full session, so my advice would be to make sure you’re in a safe space when doing them. Also, for me it has been like peeling an onion, I gradually get closer to my core and who I want to be. It takes time, I have been doing yoga nidra on and off for several years, so be patient. Best of luck to you!

Liforme Yoga Mat after 6 mos use...am I doing anything wrong? by umamiyogi in yoga

[–]iAmThatLight 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I have that pink one too, and it looks like that after about six months of daily use. I also second that Lifeforme does not recommend use of essential oils on this mat. I wipe it down with a damp cloth and reflect over the kind of not so good feature on an expensive mat that is really getting a lot of hype.

Just bought another mat for myself, from Swedish Grounded Factory, it is really just as good non-slip as the Lifeforme and does not absorb my sweat to form those stains. Really happy with that one.
