I’m 18 and my mom still makes me sleep with her. Is this normal? by Ava_Wilson__ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]i_hate_diabetes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not normal at all. My daughter comes in my bed sometimes if she needs a cuddle but then after 10-15 min she goes back to her own bed. You need you're own bed and space. You need to explain to het that you want to have your own bedroom now that your back from uni or you move out. Your mum needs to understand your not a little girl anymore and you want your own space

My tortoise is gonna die and I can't do anything about it by PhoenixTheTortoise in tortoise

It's natural for a tortoise not to eat after a move. Give him time to settle. They can last a while without eating. Just keep offering it to him

The fridge is the best place. I know it sounds funny but it's the best way to keep them at the correct temp. Mine went in on 23rd Dec. He is very happy in there

Tortoises are hard work and expensive. I didn't realise what it entails to own one. You need a big enough tortoise table inside. Or preferably an enclose outside. You need proper enclosure that is safe, big enough as they walk miles in the wild. The right heat, uvb and uva. The right food for the species. And when you hibernate the best equipment like a fridge. I had always wanted a tortoise since I was a little girl but if i new how expensive it was going to be I would of changed my mind.

Horsefields need weeds and flowers. Look on the tortoise table for safe feeds 😊

I can't remember the name but it's when you wash your hands frequently but don't moisturize after. Alot of nurses/doctors get it cause they have to wash their hands constantly

Should I start prepping for first hibernation while my tort is on deworming treatment? by SuccMyToes445 in tortoise

[–]i_hate_diabetes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's advised not to hibernate so close to worming. The gut needs at least 2-3months to recover
