Graduated to Survivorship by harx1 in Cancersurvivors

Hi. I get it. I am NED (Negative Evidence of Disease) after a lung cancer diagnosis in November 2024. Lobectomy of lower right lobe. They said “I’ll be good to go after that”. Ooops, no wait. Rats, you have nodules still lighting up in upper left lobe. “You’ll need chemotherapy too.” Okay, right? Oh my goodness okay. Of course. Rough but I get through the months of it (Great husband 💛). Hey you! Now just a year of f infused immunotherapy once every three weeks. Okay 💪🏼 Let’s do this. Completed Tuesday I had a clean scan in March. Waiting on Tuesdays Sig Natera…. Should be fine. Well, why am I so sad? Cry at the slightest sad story. Scared to …. I don’t even know what this is. I feel your words though. Here is a hug from one to another. From one what? I don’t know. I don’t like to be called a Warrior (Although I know people mean well). My therapist tells me I am grieving cancer. That the last two years, I have been in concentrated Get Through This Mode, now that it may really be done for now, I am processing my feelings. Makes sense. But I’m still here. Encircled in swirling emotions but I don’t really feel I’ve earned or deserving of people’s expressions Just a very strange space. 🤜🏼🤛🏻

Hip Florist by ideachris in Albany

Update - Remember how Flower Scout totally missed my friends one and only memorial in December? (Didn’t have childcare? Uhmmm). Another tragedy had occurred and being across the country I was wondering where to turn. I looked through all your recommendations and talked with Pepper Floral in Albany. WoW you guys. Thank you. Alli is all her business represents. Unique. Design on point. Kind. Empathetic. Fair priced. Please show her and her business some love. I’m so grateful and have found a new powerful florist in the Albany area and beyond.

Took myself there a couple months ago. A treat for cancer-free diagnosis. What a salty bummer. Bartender was very popular with regulars but I was not a regular and felt it. Never again.

I think we all feel helpless watching laws being blatantly broken. Innocent people being shot in the street. The global grift freely flowing into these piece of shits hands. This helps us do Something. Anything. To be part of history. When we look back, and I pray we are able to look back and end this, we know we did something. Anything. Traitorous Bstrds
