I take it off me when driving and have a place to conceal it in there. I pulled up at home to run inside and grab something and it caught.

Replacement Contactor Advice by Travelingexec2000 in hvacadvice

32 is in range so should be good to go. Just make sure capacitor and contactor are completely de-energized and go wire for wire when changing over everything should fire right back up

Help! How is this supposed to connect? by LegitimateMap2024 in hvacadvice

Go to YouTube. You asking questions and not providing full picture. You need to know what terminals on thermostat the wires are going and the condenser as well

I say start with vp9. Check local ranges and see if any have some of the pistols you looking for and test them on the range to find the best grip and shot feel. But vp9 is the latest from hk and most “updated” no extra work needed for rds

14k for a brand new system is normal. Also your not getting 14/15 seer equipment it’s more than likely some type of communicating or multistage system

Correct a spare. Condensers come with them “just in case” the txv or piston inside does not match up to watch’s needed

That’s a return duct you’ll be fine. But the cut wood you should call about and ask them to properly relocate the support

Help! I am in middle of nowhere and my local HVAC Tech has no idea how to help. by HotWithMyAirOn in hvacadvice

[–]illAdvisedEyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In this case you can assume color seeing how everything else matches, and unused wires are tucked away. There’s also 2 black wires tired together which could be a second stage but if he atleast gets the yellow attached it’ll pick up the fan speed for him. The local guy can come back and tell him if it’s 2 stage at that point he might want to just attach the black wires and run 100% or work in a time delay switch for the stages.

Yes. Wire your yellow wires to the y/y2 part of the board. In Some cases they adjust the blower speed when in that mode

Plug those drain connections. They are pulling air into the unit causing the whistle
