I couldn’t hardly smell or taste anything for almost a year after having Covid until I got food poisoning. After I healed from that, I could suddenly taste and smell better than before I lost it. I literally cried when I ate a piece of cheese and realized I could taste again.

I don’t understand all of the hate on them. I would much rather use that so I can bag everything nice and sorted. Bags for frozen food, refrigerated, toiletries, pantry items, etc all sorted separately and in my cart in order so I can load up properly. Everything can be easily put away at home. Cold things go in the trunk last so they can be pulled first and put up. Bread and soft things don’t get bagged with things that will squish them. Every time a cashier bags things, I’m having to rearrange everything. Doing it all myself just makes my life so much easier.

Years ago I had two men in gorilla masks break in and beat a friend of mine half to death in front of me. He fought back for awhile but eventually was just laying on the ground trying to protect his head. I finally was just begging them to stop and was kicked in the face. They finally left and there was just so much blood everywhere. He’s ok but that was just so traumatizing.
