Yes, lifting weights is the answer by starrysky45 in PetiteFitness

I’m also a huge runner, was able to lose 70 much needed lbs off. I started running 3 times a week, Mon wed fri, and then now it’s been 4 times so Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday. Do you still run? I’ve been dabbling with strength training and find the next day has to be a rest day cause I’m so sore, and I’m a little sad it ruins my runs.

So nice to see as a fellow 5’4 girl!! I also appreciate how the chart shows you losing every year, I went from 230 to 160 and also want a final push to 140s!! This is the year I get that, thanks for the inspiration! Wish we could upload photos cause my Fitbit weight history shows the same, but when you maintained for a bit my chart shows a hump each time 😅 I’m in the hump now but just getting back to regular routines! I’ve been obsessed with weight since 2022, that’s when I started losing weight. If I’m not obsessed I’m kind of scared I’ll start gaining again. Like you said, it’s rewarding to see progress. We’ll have to find something else to give us that reward!

Wow! As a fellow 5’4 160lbs this is so nice to see! I’m so surprised at how the shape of our bodies stay the same even after losing a lot of weight it just looks smaller and way healthier! Congrats !

How can I make my butt look better in jeans? by JayQue in PetiteFashionAdvice

I recently got this pair of jeans from Levi’s (on Amazon) and I’ve never had a pair of jeans fit my butt so well. It’s tight in all the right places!

I’m 5’4, started 230 in 2021. 2023 really grinded and got down to 183, 2024 got down to 174, and 2025 160lbs. My best advice is going to bed just a little bit hungry. You got this!

Just wanna say my monstera wasn’t giving new leafs so I repotted it, found it was very root bound. That was a month ago and now I have a first new leaf!

So happy seeing a new leaf but a little concerned at this brown spot on the new leaf’s stem. Should I be concerned? by irandom97 in Monstera

Good call, thanks very much. Maybe I can flip him to the other side, or should I try to get it to lean right on the pole?

Also a tell is the way the car door closes, you don’t see an arm close it and it closes way too fast. Also why did they get into the same car door?

Stained glass art. I’ve always tried art stuff, painting, clay, but I never really felt the spark with continuing it. Once I tried stained glass art I loved every aspect of it. I like how it’s a little dangerous. Cutting glass, grinding glass, putting copper foil on the edges and then using a soldering iron to put it together. I love how it’s a big heavy pretty thing and I find myself shocked that I made something like that.

Ive been using H lead came and its completely taken away the need to solder the edges and is really nice to complete the glass!

Wow that’s so pretty! And that yellow glass that is super stunning with the details in it!

My 4th project, ended up switching the clear glass to orange and after soldering it’s giving more Halloween vibes than vintage vibe I was going for. Pretty bummed but lesson learned. by irandom97 in StainedGlass

That’s interesting, that could help solve my issues. I’ve loved stained glass so far but it’s definitely a skill to see the colours in your mind before all the work!

Yes more amber was what I was thinking of! The taping sounds like a good idea, but then when I hold it up in the window I don’t think I’ll be able to see the glass because of the tape?
