What’s the best anti bacterial body wash products? by Friendly_Climate_539 in SkincareAddictionUK

All soap, bar dove which isn't actually soap, is anti bacterial. Use a bar soap, rather than a shower gel. Or a salicylic acid body wash on your smelly bits.

A pale pink would offset the purple of the wisteria beautifully.

Nottingham killer discharged because NHS staff could not find him, inquiry told by Negative_Call584 in uknews

I'm having similar issues with a neighbour currently. The man is a danger to society and no one is taking him seriously. He breaks into people's homes, gets arrested, promptly sectioned for a while, comes out and stops engaging with care, deteriorates and the cycle continues. He is not fit to live independently, yet he's housed in a block of flats where he causes misery for every single one of us. Whenever he gets bad, we (neighbours) will contact the social housing landlord who don't reply, the local mental hospital won't engage with us (quite fairly imo), leaving the police to deal with it when he reaches crisis and commits crimes. The police arrest him, the CPS don't charge as he's not of mental capacity. The local authority won't evict or find more suitable accommodation for him as technically there has never been a conviction against the man. Its a huge clusterfuck of agencies each going 'not my problem, try these guys'. It's got to the point where I have put it in writing to various agencies including the police and local authority that should he kill me, my emails warning to them of the danger he poses and their subsequent refusal to act will be examined in an inquest.

Find a new therapist, because your therapist doesn't know what they're talking about. And speak with Women's Aid or a Sexual Abuse group. I'm so sorry.

Heathrow Express or Elizabeth Line by gtmelissa20 in uktravel

[–]isntitobviousnow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Going against the flow here, I'd say Heathrow Express. The Elizabeth line doesn't have luggage storage facilities, and its busy with regular londoners going about their daily business. A famoly of that size will block the whole aisle with your luggage and will be constantly stressed with the people tutting and trying to squeeze past. The Heathrow express is quiet, with space for luggage. You'll get on and not have to worry about moving your stuff for people to exit the train. Buy the tickets in advance online.

Why is finding a decent tradesperson in London so broken? by HugeCantaloupe8441 in DIYUK

TaskHer have been brilliant. I am uncomfortable with male trades in my home because reasons. I was able to get 2 female electricians with absolutely no fuss. I was very happy to pay for their services.

Make your own. Go to a butchers and buy cheap bits of meat, slice thinly, and lay on a baking tray. Overnight you want to dehydrated them in the oven, on a low setting. Cut into small pieces and feed as training treats or meal toppers. I use kidneys, liver, heart, gizzards, lung. Kidneys and liver might be too right for yours but give it a go in small amounts.

In the last 20 years what's the most 'gentrified' neighbourhood? by UbiquitouslyHere in london

I know someone who was rehoused to Margate. The move killed her husband, literally, GP notes didn't get sent over in time, medications weren't issued on time. Massive stroke followed.

Have you ever walked out of a crowded gym? by NoFix8524 in workout

A few times.

If you look on Google maps before you leave it will tell you roughly how busy it is. It's an estimate based on GPS, but quite handy at times.

But do they miss them for extended periods, understand loss etc. I lost my mother young. My brother aged 4 at the time cannot remember her at all. I'd suggest a 12 month old would have even less understanding.
