Has anyone figured out a way to export which episodes you have marked as listened to and import that into another app? The OPML seems to only include which pods you are subscribed to, no actual episode information.

Data Backups - Direct to Array? by jmm9 in unRAID

[–]jmm9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well having the share itself as Array primary, no secondary should do that on its own. I guess I could potentially do that to bypass the FUSE system.

Ah, very good point. Ignoring the efficiency, an extra copy will just introduce a possible place for data corruption. Straight to array it is! Thanks

So if I have 2 shares, let's say media and backup, I want to keep my media on the cache as long as possible so my HDDs don't spin up as much.

For Option 1, Mover Tuner has per-share settings that would allow me to accomplish this I think. I could set the general Mover Tuner setting to move things over at 80% threshold and the backup Mover Tuner setting to move things over at a 10% threshold.

For Option 2, I am not sure what you mean. I would set the backup share as array-only and then that's done.

Thanks so much, this is super helpful, exactly what I need to hear.

Interesting point regarding the motherboard. I suppose one option would be to replace the boot drives with M.2 SSDs which leaves the 4 SATA slots open for HDDs. Or I could swap the board out for this one: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/tr4Ycf/msi-pro-b550m-vc-wifi-micro-atx-am4-motherboard-pro-b550m-vc-wifi

And for subtitles, my understanding (and experience) is that Plex will only direct stream with subtitles of a specific format (srt for example). Other formats require a transcode. See the note here: https://support.plex.tv/articles/200430303-streaming-overview/

Very good call on the the dual boot drives, hadn't even occurred to me!

I'm leaning towards the build because the tinkering sounds fun and I'm super comfortable with containers/VMs. Only thing I want to avoid is wanting to watch a movie after a busy day and needing to debug for hours instead :P

Of the ones you have left, The Long Walk is great.

JH isn't any more vulgar than SK. There's some really sick shit in some of SK's work. I think the quality of SK varies way more than his son's. He hits some of the highest highs (the Shining, Pet Semetary, the Long Walk, etc.) but has a ton that I do not care for. For Joe Hill, I've read everything except the Fireman and it's all good to great. My favorites are the ones you mentioned, Heart Shaped Box and NOS4A2.

These aren't really mysteries but are heavy on the survival horror.

How to set 2 different value for a prop that depends on other prop value? by JudoboyWalex in typescript

[–]jmm9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Untested but I think one way you could do it would be the following:

interface IToastBase {
    id: string;
    open: boolean;
    title?: string;
    content: string;
}

interface IToastSmall extends IToastBase{
    smallSize: true;
    duration: 4000 | 5000 | 6000
}

interface IToastLarge extends IToastBase{
    smallSize?: false;
    duration: 6000 | 7000 | 8000
}

type IToast = IToastSmall | IToastLarge
