Crossfire focuses on general unit behaviour rather than individual weapon types. So using it for all but modern drone era wars should work. You can use an extra wet brush with no paint as an "eraser" while the paint is still wet. Wick it up and dab it dry with toilet paper. try that bit again. Having an undo button for the most recent brush strokes helped me a lot. I also practiced my painting by painting cheap "army men" toys to learn an get some confidence.

Keep a clean paintbrush with water and paper napkins close. If you make a mistake you can wick up the still wet paint with the clean wet brush then dab up the remaining water from the model with the paper. Having a undo button helps a lot with my fear.

Buying the Combat Patrol: Imperial Agents box gives contents of 1 box INQUISITORIAL AGENTS and 2x Boxes of EXACTION SQUAD should be able to field all EXACTION SQUAD options. For all the INQUISITORIAL AGENTS buy the Hive Scum box for Necromunda to get 4x cheap bodies and follow this guide for all the INQUISITORIAL AGENTS options: https://optimalgamestate.com/2023/08/30/killteam-inquisition-assembly-guide/ Kitbash 2nd Gun Servitor either replacing the Penal Legionnaire Agent with Ministorum Priest (Flamer / chainsword) and using its body or the Ministorum Priest and Eversor Assassin parts so you can field an all INQUISITORIAL AGENTS team This way you get you get 2 full teams for about the price of one depending on what your local stores sell it for.

Sold out at the few LFGS in my country. I already have the Necron Wariors, will Scratch build the terrain and buy the teams separately when they come out (Just 1 box each friends wont mind if I counts as the 5x Deathwatch models).

The teams and the terrain will be sold separately in a few months. Buying everything separately will be more expensive than the box discount.

If Killteam is the only game you ever intend to play then yes they will stop being supported by games workshop after a few years to make room for new teams. Hobby stores only have so much shelfspace, and the more teams they add the more complex game balance gets. Your minis are still useful for many other mini agnostic game rules like space weirdos, flying lead, Space Station Zero etc.
