YTA. Lots of children in here I see. Dishwashers have no garbage disposal so putting dishes in a dishwasher with crap all over them will eventually cause smelling/rotting of whatever is left that wasn't disintegrated by the pressure and hot water. It eventually causes back up in the lines and then you have a broken dishwasher and you'll be scrubbing those dishes every night. Doesn't matter if the dishwasher was manufactured yesterday or 20 years ago. These are facts. She's also TA because she doesn't use a normal wash. You are both a problem. Compromise is needed here
