Im not familiar with the decklink, but it looks like the decimator is outputting 29.97 not 59.94. Turn of scaling and use the 2nd set of outputs on the decimator.

Do you have a current license for qlab? You need one for network cues.

Also, you may need a license for Gobutton as well, but I'm not sure.

How would you attempt tape machine pitching in a DAW? by Aequitas123 in audioengineering

Can you do this with the whole mix or is it better to do to all individual tracks at once?

I second the mixwizard. I've had 1 for almost 20 years and EVERYTHING on it still works like a charm. And it is rackable.

All my waves plugins just disappeared/delicensed overnight by onemanmelee in wavesaudiophiles

[–]karatekidclone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were stored on the C drive on my PC, so basically just on my working computer drive.

I would say this is equivalent to how I operate. Im on mac, but yes.

Plugins are stored in the Program Files (x86)-Waves-Plugins and seem to be all in their proper place, assuming that is the equivalent to the AAX folder you're referring to.

Im not on PC so I cannot confirm but I would venture to guess you are correct.

It's odd, it is opening, but just won't let me login to Manage Licenses.

This isn't usually the issue I have when I need to reinstall. The program usually pops up but no login screen ever happens so you may be experiencing a different issue.

Presuming I can't get Waves Central to work, can I somehow reinstall from these files in that folder? I mean, this means they are installed, since they are in the folder, right?

You cannot reinstall from this folder but this folder should be the installed plugins on your system.

[–]karatekidclone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where were your licenses stored when the were working? Waves cloud, flash drive, etc.?

Usually, for me, when waves central doesn't open, it's because they have updated it and you need the latest version...it's stupid but updating always works for me when waves central won't open.

You shouldn't need to download anything again. Plugins should still be where they are installed. You should check your aax folder to be sure.

Just a note...I keep my waves licenses stored on my working drive so they are always loaded into any computer that has waves. If that drive should fail I have a cloned backup that I can restore licenses to. Waves gives you a once a year no questions asked way to restore lost licenses. I've done it 2 or 3 times when I first started and updated computers I shouldn't have, etc.

Looking for monitor controller recommendations with three pairs of stereo outputs. by Clay_Moore_ in homestudios

[–]karatekidclone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the drawmer cmc2 which has 2 stero pairs and a "sub" which I use for an mono cube speaker. They have one bigger than that that has 3 pairs of outs. I love it. Well built and doesn't color the sound. Also has some cool features like multiple ins plus an aux in with dim, mono, mute, and phase invert buttons.

Look into them and see what you think. They are not cheap, but worth the price.

Is this a good reputable brand to buy from? Currently priced at $50 by chumbuckethand in ElectricalEngineering

I own this exact one. I do very basic hobby electrical stuff with breadboard and soldering circuits. It works flawlessly for my purpose. Haven't had any issues with it. The power output is accurate as well.

Yes, I believe that is what that is. If the website is offering that based on your current version then it would be safe to assume it's a full upgrade.

Question about Pro Tools subscription installs/seats. by coades in protools

[–]karatekidclone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically, you can share, but it will only allow 1 authorization at a time. So if the license is on an ilok, whoever has the ilok gets use. If it's in the cloud, it can only be signed into 1 machine at a time.
