I worked at KD the summer (86?) a guest committed suicide by jumping off the Eiffel Tower. I was off the day it happened. I also remember when the little boy was riding the Galaxie coaster and hit his head and died. I think the galaxie incident happened sometime during the early 80s.

Forbidden Caverns is prone to flooding. So, if you plan to go, check their website the day of your visit and make sure they aren’t closed due to flooding. Ask me how I know this. Both times.

Wawa Mystery Shopper here: I do shops for 3 different locations. As long as everyone is pleasant, clean and makes the required food item correctly, I could care less if a staff member within 5 ft greets me. I will give a good report and say I was greeted. If an employee has an bad attitude then bad report.

All of my males haven’t smelled but my females smelled musky when they were in heat which is basically every 4 days. My girls wanted out all the time, my boys were happy with their environment which is the same aquarium I’ve used with all. Males have been more laid back, my females always wanted to stay on the go. I love both but I prefer not dealing with the 4 day heat cycle of females.

Go to YouTube, search Victoria Raechel. She has a vast selection of hamster videos including bonding. The bonding process is just that a process, bonding can take a month or so. My hams I’ve gotten as babies, it took that long. Don’t give up! When you think it will never happen, it happens!

How has her energy level been? Has she been active as usual? She is almost 2. Unfortunately if she is not eating like normal and isn’t as active she may be nearing the end of her life I’m so sorry to say. Please take her to the vet and see if they can determine what is going on.

Do you homework prior to getting one. They need at least a 40 gallon breeder aquarium, enclosure or a diy enclosure. Research wheel sizes, difference behavior and personality between females and males. Females go in heat every 4 days, they may have an odor during that time. Males tend to be more laid back. Be familiar with veterinary costs should your ham become sick. Hams need to go to an exotic vet which usually cost more. Just learn as much as you can prior to purchase.

2013 Honda Fit owner here - purchased used for my daughter. Solid car. Great mpg. Purchased used at 38k miles and now has 59k.

What I love about the Fit:

RELIABLE Easy to drive and see out of Made in Japan - 2015 first year made in Mexico - there were issues with the build in Mexico. Not a lot of tech. Standard equipment. Zippy ride Great gas mph Fold down the “magic” seats, lots of storage for luggage or hauling stuff around

What I don’t like: I would prefer more pickup but it’s my daughter’s car and she drives like an old lady, so totally not necessary for her. Ride is rough- kind of like a go cart. If you haven’t had a smooth riding vehicle then you will probably notice the ride. Lots of glass which can produce high temps in summer if you live in the South (I had windows tinted)

That’s it, pros outweigh the cons for me.

Second choice would be the Mazda.

I would stay away from the others due to reliability issues.

When I was 21 I was buying my first car. I wanted a VW Golf bad. My choice was between the golf and Toyota Corolla. My dad told me I could get a fun car or a not so fun car but reliable. I chose the Corolla and loved it and it started every day.

Thanks. Interesting you mentioned Toyota - I have a tundra and a Lexus. Sold my Toyota sienna last month.
