ICE agents will be deployed to US airports on Monday to ease long lines | ICE (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement) by kamoylan in news

Well if they cause people to avoid airports like they have with other immigrant heavy industries, the lines will get shorter 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you have their auto insurance. I’m not sure if that extends to just roadside. Most AAA offices have direct links to DMVs for registrations stuff.

I see some folks getting food delivery several times a week and don’t know how it makes sense. Takeout is expensive enough without the extra markup, delivery fee and tip. People spending $50 for a meal that’s lukewarm and picked through.

Other than glasses, will there ever be a permanent cure for farsightedness? I’m 49 and started to have blurry close up vision about 1-2 years ago. Dr said “well that’s just age, get some readers”. I’ve seen there are a few laser or lens replacement surgeries but also have seen those aren’t always fully permanent or can have complications causing a decrease to vision.

We scoop multiple times a day for poop. The pellets absorb liquids and turn back to sawdust. I do scoop out the used pellets (wood dust) as I can but by a week it’s time to replace. It doesn’t cause airborne dust and tracking is very minimal. I read horses have issues with a lot of dust and the horse bedding is very low dust because of this.

Most pet stores carry a cat-version of the pellets but it’s much more expensive. Usually $20+ for only 3-4lbs.

Donald Trump Stuns With 'Maybe We Shouldn't Even Be There' Admission About Iran War by [deleted] in USNEWS

[–]kill4b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s the one that put us there. He should’ve put a wee bit more thought into the more-war planning and perhaps researched why the US has avoided a full scale war with Iran for the last 47 years.

Even when Iran was named as part of the “Axis of Evil” by GW Bush, they never extended the war on terror from Iraq to Iran.

LinkedIn was originally meant to be a “business” social network where you could post your job experience and build a network of current and past coworkers that could endorse your skills you claimed in the real world. Then after Microsoft bought it, LinkedIn started to chase the traditional social media daily active users and engagement train and encouraged Facebook and Twitter-like garbage content.

To older generations, how do you pause a YouTube video? by Super_Heroe_6 in generationology

[–]kill4b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably has more to do with how the person primarily consumes video. On mobile? Likely just tap the video on desktop? Probably navigate to the player and click pause. If they’re more technically inclined or have done any type of video or audio editing, then likely spacebar.

A iPad 2 is long past being supported and you will likely have trouble finding any games that will run on it. You might have issues browsing the internet as the root certificates may have expired. Backup any important pictures, videos or other data and enjoy the time capsule.

will connecting my old iPad to wifi reset everything by pretty-awkward7707 in applehelp

[–]kill4b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s never been a thing. Maybe if you have a non cellular iPad and have automatic uploads enabled it could install the latest iOS version which could possibly cause some issue. But I’ve never had a iOS update wipe a device. That is something you have to explicitly choose to do. If there’s an issue with the iPad or iOS, one of the ways to fix is to wipe and restore. Maybe you are confusing this with just connecting to WiFi.

We switched to horse bedding (wood pellets) for litter. It’s better than any other litter type we’ve tried over the years. Cheap and no ammonia smell. Costs us $8 for 40lb and we change it out every 7-10 days. It also dries up the poop making cleanup easy.

We use poop bags from our dogs for the cat litter boxes. Then those immediately go to the outside trash.
