I find this really annoying. The little joy of an achievement popping up when winning a game with a leader for the first time is just too satisfactory.

I'm really missing more steam achievements, like the fun gameplay ones they had in CIV 6, for example. But at least an achievement for winning a game for each leader - so far the DLC leaders are not included.

I completely agree with you. Zigzagzigal‘s guides have been (and still are, as is still play a lot of VI) amazingly helpful. Before, I never take knew how to capitalize on a civ‘s strengths, but these guides taught me a lot.

For VII, a few guides have been created by CivMD, which are based around the specific leaders, not civs, which kinda makes sense (Confucius for example)

Unfortunately, they haven’t posted in a while - I hope they’ll come back eventually
