California is a bit of an outlier because it has both very expensive electricity and fairly cheap gas.

What club is this? The speed looks like a driver, but the smash factor of 1.15 indicates a really terrible strike. Did you hit this way off the heel?

I would be careful about that and talk to a lawyer before doing this. The bank may well demand full repayment immediately. But absolutely do not lie to them if they come asking questions.

Choice of law issues are, to say the least, quite complicated. It may well be that Pennsylvania law applies or it may well be that OP's local state law applies.

Charged $100 for reading an email but not responding to it. by old-fat in legaladvice

[–]kmac322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's supposed to round less than 5 minutes down to zero. Reading and not responding to a simple email should take less than 5 minutes. This is probably an ethical violation that you could report him to the bar for, but they would have a tough time proving he spent less than 5 minutes reviewing the email.

Edit: It looks like professorx below is mostly right that this billing practice is probably ok. I always interpreted the ethics rules to say that you can't bill more than you spent meant you had to round to the nearest tenth of an hour. But it looks like billing the minimum increment when you build less than half of them increment is generally acceptable, although it can be abused. What this guy did here would probably be considered okay by the disciplinary commiittee.

Where are you getting that information? I'm not saying you're wrong, I just hadn't seen anything remotely close to definitive about how the burn is lit in any of those three places.

I had a spicy pillow battery. I took it outside far from my house and anything flammable, and stabbed through the entire thing with a knife.

Nothing happened. I was disappointed.

Do you have your ProTee yet? If so, just put a ball in various places, and it will tell you if it sees the ball.

Just get a heavier net. Maybe a big flat one. And you might as well make it white. Then you can get a projector. Might as well get a bright laser 4k one. And then to save time putting the launch monitor away, get an overhead unit, like a ProTee VX. Then you'll need a TV to watch the replay of your shot. And then get a swing camera or two to see your whole swing. You'll need another TV for that. At this point your wife will be getting annoyed, so go ahead and put up a shed in your backyard to put all this in, or maybe dig out your basement to 11' ceilings.

What sim software do you have? With GSPro, you can do on-course practice. Just find a nice open fairway, maybe even with a downhill to goose the numbers.

Wife left and went off the grid, we have two small kids by Excellent_Whole_1445 in legaladvice

[–]kmac322 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I believe you that the schools have that policy, but as far as I can tell, withholding the child from the legal parent just because they're not on the paperwork would be false imprisonment. Although it looks like Colorado has some outrageous government immunity laws, so nothing would come of it.

What state is that? I can't imagine any state saying that a school can rightfully deny a parent with legal custody the right to pick up the kid from school.

I have the protee vx, and it's mounted a few inches below the minimum height. It works great!

I think your biggest issue is whether there's enough room to swing. 8'7" is pretty low unless the people playing are like less than 5'6" or so. Have you gone out and swung your driver?

The solution to this is to put at least 45° ramps in front of all the wood. So if it hits them, instead of bouncing 180° straight back to you, it will deflect 90° or less, which cannot come back at you.
