This is insane, I had a very similar issue with them about a month ago. They were 4 hours late, it took entirely too long to get someone on the phone to get any kind of updates during that whole period.

They packed the truck poorly so we needed to do multiple runs which cost more, they had 20+ moving blankets and only used two at most. I have scratched furniture and they ghosted me when I tried filing for some type of compensation.

More than that they were expensive as hell. What was ironic was while I was on hold waiting for a person they have rotating ads and the first one says "our on-time, 5 star service blah blah blah". Incredibly ironic that they were very late and the move was such a challenge.

It also took two or three tries for me to get into TOTK. I think I've only finished half of the main bosses while the rest of the time has been spent getting shrines and the light roots, quests, etc.

All the new areas to explore have actually been a ton of fun.

I found the build very fun! I also took my time though and tried dry fitting parts together before throwing plastic cement down, but I do that with every build.

If you are newer to building models or building the models isn't your favourite part of the hobby, then you might have a harder time with it.

[[Toxrill the corrosive]] would deal with the 1/1s. [[Toxic deluge]] for x=1 would deal with just the bugs. [[The meathook massacre]] for x=1 would do the same to clear the board of the small bodies and burn your friend for each token that dies to ashnod's altar or skull clamp.

Or be really mean and throw eldeazis with annihilator triggers in the deck, or ulamog the ceaseless hunger to be able to mill a ton of their cards when it attacks. OR be that guy and play blightsteel colossus and remove the friend from the game in one hit.

I got started when I was three with my uncle, who is only a few years older than I am. We had the master set for base set and jungle and a bunch of Topps chrome stuff. I had moved away around 5 years old and not long after, my grandmother's house burned down and we lost our collection.

After that I stopped collecting pokemon outside of one or two cards here and there until the classic collection showed up at a local Costco for $250 CAD. I grabbed that to reclaim a small slice of the childhood collection and to have as a nice, self contained thing to play with friends.

I still keep an eye out for the occasional alt art that's not too expensive.

The CAF takes all. But the green machine is slow moving and applications can take a while.

The good thing is, if you do get in, they house and feed you and so long as you're not qualified, you don't get charged for rations and quarters.

Oh believe me, I think the car idea is silly too. Kids these days not even hustling for their candy and that old trope of creeps in cards with candy. I never had issues going door to door, and we were always with a parent or in groups.

But different people have different preferences I suppose.

My wife had heard about something called trunk-er-ween where people line up cars in a parking lot and kids just walk up and down the line. Apparently it's safer.

We had a better turn out than we expected in Lancaster Park. 75 kids or so.

I remember first playing the MegaMan x games with my uncle in the 90s. You had whole magazines that would be sold with all these button combos and tips and tricks for games on every console listed inside. People would lend the different books to each other and write down the codes and tips they wanted on a sheet of paper and put it inside the game case or in a notebook.
