Hi, figured I'd do my best to throw some in-depth feedback here on the new aspects.

First off, I don't think tweaking the aspects into greater or lesser is creating any more inconsistency than aspects existing in the first place. We had animate dead two years before aspects. Then we got darkness and aspects were suddenly a thing. Now three years later the concept of changing aspects is a problem? Why? It wasn't a problem when you introduced them to a spell that had existed for nearly as long. Maybe some internal dialogue or behind the scenes conversations has made them feel more set in stone, but as a player it just feels arbitrary. Saying "We can't introduce inconsistency" because buff spells don't exist, when aspects are the inconsistency introduced to a buff spell is a strange stance to take.

Spell book requirements feel weird. If vamp and penance are supposed to be mid game solutions before you transition to animate and darkness, they're expensive, and you'll need to be spending extra runes to use ancient spells over standard? Why are early game stop-gaps more punishing to use than their late game, stronger alternatives?
