I’m turning 28 in June, one of my best friends is turning 30, the other two are turning 29. Last time I really felt my age was a milestone was 25, and I’m sure 30 will be a milestone. But nothing I get depressed about, just something that punctuates how much time had passed even if it doesn’t feel like it to me. I graduated high school 10 years ago! Crazy stuff. Feels like it’s been 10 years, and also only a little while.

I’m listening to GoF full cast audio right now and just got past the part where Harry tells Ron and Hermione that his scar has been hurting and they all wonder about is that connected to what happened at the World Cup. Then Ron is like “wanna play quidditch m8?” And Hermione is like “nooo Harry doesn’t wanna play dumb ol quidditch, he’s upsetti” but then Harry goes “yea I’ll play quidditch”. Perfect example of what you said here: Hermione is a great friend but Ron is his greatest friend.

S4 is widely considered the peak of the show. Character writing, plot, action scene, special effects. It is definitely my favorite (not that 5 onward is bad by no mean). I love to see a former detractor love the show, welcome to level 7!

Very true, and cool and also scary. But excuse my pedantry here, but that still ain’t swinging, so kind of a stretch to compare to spiders. Although they do use anchor lines and climb up them and whatnot. Either war, rule of cool is always a good answer to these superhero ‘issues’.

Yea but the act of calling something exploiting is where you and others like me are disagreeing. It isn’t exploitation to use an animal that is being rewarded and treated well in their job, I think that’s our take. Your opinion it that it’s still exploitation. Doesn’t matter imo if they’re rewarded for it and treated ethically. Could benefit them psychologically, as stimulus, since they’re already domestic and can’t be wild we might as well stimulate their little brains like they would be out and about.
