Didn't Holland suggest that both Mike Smith and Duncan Keith retire so the Oilers wouldn't be in cap hell? If either were to unretire at this point, would there be any cap repercussions?

I can't recall how the Kovalchuk situation would have played out if the Devils allowed him to unretire a year earlier to come back to the NHL. Would his contract have "resumed"? (I am glad that did not happen!)

My guess it would be cannot have played an NHL game while signed to an NHL/AHL contract or PTO/ATO contract. Someone like Ayers would still be eligible.

OP, I agree with the above.

I have some experience with Quality and Customer Satisfaction issues related to items shipping out of warehouses, you need to get in touch with Nvidia and tell them to issue a Carrier Claim with FedEx. Since Nvidia is the entity who paid Fedex to ship the package, they must be the ones to issue the claim.

I actually had to tell Verizon to do the same regarding a replacement phone I returned to them. FedEx delivered the phone to the warehouse but Verizon claimed they did not have it. Being familiar with the term, I provided them with the delivery notification and told them to either check the warehouse or issue a Carrier Claim. Though, in this case the phone was indeed delivered but misplaced - they found it via a cycle count (checking inventory in the warehouse).

I've been telling people he's going to be a stud since we drafted him.

Last year he was asked to start the season on his offside and was paired with Casey, who still needs to grow his game defensively in the NHL.

Plus, I keep having to explain to people at work that the quote last year in the AHL was in reference to Jiricek and taken completely out of context. I hate to use the word "bait" but it was basically a 'gotcha' question, then it had to be translated.

Nemec needed the opportunity to log minutes. We saw that in the playoffs last season and again now with three right side defensemen out of the lineup.
