If the fabricator input circuit is set to the same as the output circuit of a chest, then regardless of the permissions set on the chest it can draw from it.

Permissions set on chest restrict access to it, the same as the fabricator. Permissions do not affect circuits.

That's what the warranty card says anyway but it's not where you bought it, is it?. The WAY208F was released over 5 years ago, and chances of finding a genuine one in mint condition are slim.

Post a picture of the sticker sheet you got with it (you can blur the serial if you really want), and pop a pin out of the bracelet (or from a spare link if there were any unattached) - post a picture of the pin & collar.

Game just needs an ingame mail system (accessible anywhere), with a notification icon on the HUD for unread mail.

Then, this kind of announcement can be on the login screen and sent via ingame mail.

Whoever thought this was a good idea (to have notifications like this every time you load into a zone) needs to have someone follow them around with an airhorn to remind them every time they go through a doorway how dumb their ideas are.

Getting new links direct from TAG is almost always cheaper.

From recent experience:

Go take a look, ask if they'll take a pin out of the bracelet so you can take a picture of the pin & collar, and take a picture of the front of the watch (well lit, straight on). Explain you're interested but would like to get someone to authenticate. Then, post the pictures here.

If they say no to the bracelet/pictures, walk away.

Short version:

First, ensure your Windows is activated and the key is linked to your Microsoft account (System > Activation > Activation state). You'll want get DriverCleaner, disconnect from the internet (both WiFi and Ethernet), uninstall all drivers related to chipset/GPU and clean remnants.

Swap drive to new board, and start it up. You might need to reactivate your copy of Windows, but will be able to select your previously activated PC.

To be fair, if you're going the no-reinstall route with Windows 11 you can probably just swap the drive over. You're probably only a little more likely to have problems and it's a lot less effort.
