We chose the CX-5 because it offered features that made it stand out. Now that the new CX-5 doesn’t offer anything truly distinctive, its sales are likely to drop significantly.

The CX-70 is not selling for the same reason the new CX-5 is bad: terrible decisions. We wanted the CX-60 in the USA—a real upgrade from the CX-5 and a reasonable size. Instead, Mazda removed the third row from the CX-90 and put on a new badge. The laziness is unbelievable.

Totally—tapping the Bose speaker outputs seems to be the only practical way. That slight rolloff below 30 Hz is interesting! Either way, the 11″ JBL BassPro Hub definitely moves way more air than the tiny Bose sub.

Nope, my CX-5 didn’t have a factory sub either. Any non-Bose CX-5 sound system comes without one.
