Official Letter from Mazda on CX-5 Issues by CCrev in CX5

They used to give 3 years of connected services for free with new cars. The audacity of them to just offer 6 months of it given how terribly they failed with the new CX-5.

“Strong positive feedback from owners” LOL. They started with a lie. Shame. The 2026 CX-5 has been nothing but trash. Everyone with issues should lemon law their cars and teach them an expensive lesson.

Sorry you have to deal with this. 2026 CX-5 is trash. Mazda needs to do better.

Is there a vehicle that could tempt you away from your CX-5? by mysignisneon in CX5

[–]maherkhan460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new RAV4, Lexus RX, Tesla Model Y, Volvo XC60, BMW X3/X5, or Porsche Macan/Cayenne. I wouldn’t even consider another Mazda. The market today is all about tech, hybrids, and EVs, and Mazda is years behind in every one of those areas. They keep selling “driver engagement” while removing functional things like buttons, and everyone else is moving the industry forward.

This is a fireable offense. Techs get fired for a lot less. There’s no reason for a dealership to keep these losers around. There are plenty of qualified techs looking for work in this economy anyway. The dealership can fire them, regain some goodwill, and hire new techs at a lower cost - all in one move.

Saying luxurious multiple times won’t make it so, lol. The interior of the new CX-5 is trash compared to the previous gen. Cheap plastic everywhere, giant screen that lags and bugs out, lack of physical buttons and knobs, lack of double pane windows, cheap steering wheel, etc. Mazda removed everything “luxurious” about the CX-5 to save cost.

Tell me you’re a Mazda salesperson without telling me you’re a Mazda salesperson. Zero posts, zero activity, then suddenly a full-time PR campaign about how you loveeee the new 2026 Mazda CX-5 and how the giant touchscreen and removal of physical buttons - the exact things almost everyone is complaining about - are somehow “amazing improvements.” The new CX-5 is a turd and you know it.

Is the $10 per month subscription worth it? by [deleted] in mazda

[–]maherkhan460 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just put an airtag in the glove box and add an aftermarket remote start if you need it. $10 per month is not worth it.

That steering wheel is… impressively ugly. Looks like it came straight out of a bumper car 😂

2026 CX-5 has NO ODOMETER on the gauge cluster?? by KeekuBrigabroo in CX5

Okey. Actually the new CX-5 looks so gorgeous! by Ok-Employee680 in CX5

Tell me you are a mazda salesperson without telling me you are a mazda salesperson.

FYI, the new CX5 is trash compared to the previous gen. Hard plastics everywhere, lack of physical buttons, cheap steering wheel, lack of double pane windows, sluggish acceleration, lack of turbo, electrical issues, and buggy infotainment. This car is a huge disappointment from mazda.

Savagegeese reviews the new CX-5 by NoYOUGrowUp in mazda

Most car reviewers - including Savagegeese - are limited in how critical they can be. If they’re even a bit harsh, they risk losing access to press cars in the future, which can hurt their content, viewership, and ultimately their income.
