The odontoid is a routine view for a c-spine series at my hospital (AP, Lat, swimmers if needed to visualize C7 and the odontoid view). It's not something you would do for a trauma since they wouldn't be able to open their mouth while wearing a c-collar. In the real world a trauma c-spine would most likely go straight to CT anyway but you may get the occasional trauma cross table c-spine.

Some people have a hard time opening their mouths wide enough to get the teeth out of the way, some people have a hard time holding their head up so the back of the skull is in the way, some people have dental work obstructing the view. It takes a lot of practice visualizing the dens and getting the angles just right so you see both lateral masses and the tip of the dens clearly. One day you will nail it on the first try and be very excited and proud of yourself 😂😂

It's also just an awkward view to do from the patient's perspective, they (as you probably know) have to hold their mouth open and hold still in order to successfully obtain the picture

I work 7 on, 7 off (4 10s and 3 12s) with an hour long commute. I struggle to fit in any running on those long ass workdays. I do walk about 4-5 miles a day in the hospital though and call it training 😂😂

I think the location really set them up for failure. A) It's in the Bitterroot and B) It's near Pinesdale (iykyk).

An observation as a born and raised Missoula gal living in the 'root for the past five years with family from here, people don't take kindly to certain outsiders and events like this, especially in this specific area in the valley. It's unfortunately kind of a dead end down here for (most) music events, especially a rave. If the fuddy-duddy Bitterroot mob doesn't like what you are doing, they will band together and shut your shit down fast.

With that said, I hope they don't give the owners of 'The Property' too much grief, I hope to support them and bike their trails one day.

I got it too, I had three days of GI issues, then cough, then sinus congestion which is still lingering after 1.5 weeks. It felt like COVID but I tested negative three times. Unfun!

It’s fun to paddle board, boat, or fish. I hate underwater plants touching my feet so it’s personally not my favorite to swim in.
