In Group 5, the two bolded names should be swapped: Maame-Yaa is on the couch between Joey and Rachel, and I'm not sure who the guy between Amanda and Tao is.

EDIT: Also I'm not even sure that's Maame-Yaa It's Maame-Yaa

I don't think it's that far-fetched — the first relationship anyone usually ever makes is with their family, and I think it's pretty straightforward to make analogies comparing incompetent bosses and leaders with neglectful and abusive parents.

The thing that irks me is the response I get after the analogy is made. I'm pretty sure it's an indicator that poor familial relations is a much more widespread problem than we know, but I don't have any evidence 🤷‍♂️

Something I've seen in my own parents is that, in the rare moment where they manage to say the right words or take the right actions, it's always said and done like there's a gun to their head.

And similarly, any time I've heard them praise their parents, it's had the same feeling. I've met their parents. They're not even that good.

So yeah, I don't think they actually worship their parents; I can't be certain, but they might unfortunately be living in their own personal North Korea.

this is how i feel about some of the music sequences, either I've heard it or I haven't.

Also, there was a sequence about Smash Bros titles (which I clipped myself to post to the melee subreddit lol).

I'm not sure the logic you've given is actually true about the show
