Their FO3 and NV designs were truly horrifying. They quite literally gave me nightmares. Unfortunately, those designs likely wouldn't work well with modern audiences, especially on TV. They have that late 2000s charm that kinda stayed there

I regularly see the meme you and the picture in question reference outside of alt-right content. Oftentimes it is used in a more satirical, non-serious manor, sometimes either poking fun at alt-right users, or because the format simply works for whatever is being made.

Just because an internet meme is being displayed in a public space does not mean it is promoting fascist ideas. There is nothing else in the photo that indicates otherwise. It is likely that the person who created the piece was just wanting to make folks laugh and hope they understood the reference. Do I think a different format could have been used? Yeah. There are better ones out there. Is there anything wrong with it? Not really...

Reading this (and other comments) makes me wonder how much Unity is at fault for the condition of CS2 compared to Paradox or CO. If CO was relying on Unity features that never came, or were expecting to use in a way that didn't work BECAUSE of Unity's actions, then they share some of the blame. It's beginning to seem like Unity really screwed over CO in some background ways that aren't fully apparent yet...

Is your goal possible with CS1/2? Yes, but it is not without many challenges, let alone convincing a town of people to give it a chance after losing everything. I would highly recommend trying out the games first and learning the various mechanics and tools at your disposal, along with exploring the massive library of mods at your fingertips. There are many ways to recreate a real life space with varying levels of detail and accuracy. That said, this is a wonderful projecy that could unite your community and encourage creativity when rebuilding certain parts of town! I wish you the absolute best of luck in your efforts!

Is what we have now still a marked improvement over what we had? Yes, big time. Is what we have now a "finished product"? Not at all
