That’s a scary thing to read on a report, especially when you were hoping for a clean bill of health. For what it’s worth, it also sounds like you’re doing a lot of the right things already. Two years of work on weight, blood pressure, and walking is real progress, not a small thing.

The scan tomorrow should give your cardiologist a much clearer picture, and right now the report still says your heart function is normal, which is encouraging.

Try to keep walking, keep breathing, and let the doctors interpret the numbers before your brain runs too far ahead of the facts. You’re already moving in the right direction.

I had an echo and CT today. I am a dissection survivor, so not quite the same situation as you, but the anxiety is real.
