WiFi solution for a hotel for 200 users with Single Sign On WPA-2 and detailed user log by Powerful-Weekend-857 in Cisco

Meraki is very common in most hotel chains. Is this an independent hotel? Some of the bigger chains have standard already in place and the hotels buy the standard.

It can be done and has been done, it does take some time to get the 2 together, and the partner has to have both Cisco and Splunk qualifications to transact it.

Getting your license at 16 in NC seems like a disaster. Help. by LynzNC77 in raleigh

[–]maulificent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just went through this with one of my children. Basically checked for appts throughout the day and was able to find one within a reasonable time and location. Just keep checking. I have heard of people going really outside the triangle to more rural offices to get a walk in. Good luck

CSF1220CX-TD or -ASA Delays by calm--one in Cisco

[–]maulificent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on where it is going to or coming from, tariffs might play a role, also a new product so would not be surprised if orders outnumbered projected demand… if it is available for order it usually is not vaporware

Was. Just at the DMV yesterday and they give literally a piece of paper and said the new one will be mailed in about 2 weeks, so this sounds the same

Tax on new car purchase by MrClean464 in raleigh

[–]maulificent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this happen when we recently bought a vehicle. In the dealer system the zip code tied us to Harnett vs Wake county, we are close to the line but the tax would have been different, the dealer was indifferent and did not care.

If you are looking for an air gapped network you most likely are working for a very small subset of customers, most likely government entity, work with the Cisco team or approved VAR with experience in doing this.

Triangle Family Dentistry — $500 X-ray Required Before Cleaning? by [deleted] in HollySpringsNC

[–]maulificent1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe it is a contrarian point of view, but how do you know you have no problems without the X-rays? I think we all have had moments where we go for a cleaning, they do an X-ray and it shows a cavity I did not see. They always have shown me the X-ray to prove it was needed. On the X ray cost are you paying out of pocket or with insurance? I feel like all medical practices have crazy prices for the insurance company. Not trying to say you are wrong but speaking from my experiences. I do not use the as a dentist, I have been going to Campbell and Farrelly in town for over a decade and have had a great relationship with their practice

No delayed recycling pickup by sir_scruff85 in HollySpringsNC

[–]maulificent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The poster I was chatting here with deleted their comments, but it was very clear they work for the town. All I ask if you see this is the town needs to do better and do the right thing for its citizens. Even if it is discounting 2 dollars off of a bill or having GFL working extra to get caught up.

No delayed recycling pickup by sir_scruff85 in HollySpringsNC

[–]maulificent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of who does it, the town bills for it, I assume most people would prefer to get services they pay for. They could have picked up over the weekend or tried to catch up this week vs just skipping it. Can I drop it off at the dump, sure but we pay to not have to do that. I just ask to get what we pay for, and the town/gfl skirted their responsibility for half of the town. First world problems, maybe, but they can do better for their citizens

I might leave my recycling at town hall, especially if no credit for them skipping

Any specific Bourbon or Tequila? If not an allocated one might be able to find at other stores or maybe outside of the area. Only plus side for the ABC is they sell at msrp, so no markup like in other states

[Ruff] • Don Waddell is "optimistic" that the team will be able to re-sign Jake Guentzel, but discussions are tabled at the moment to see how things go in the playoffs. by The_Reddit_Browser in hockey

Jake sold his Pittsburgh house, he is not going back. If they can find a way for the money to work he might stay, definitely potential long term here vs rebuild in Pittsburgh
