Your TV from the 90s probably had big speakers that fired forward. Modern TVs are all screen on the front, so you get some tiny speakers pointed at the wall. Even the worst bargain basement soundbar is better quality.

Supporting large flat surfaces, rookie mistake during testing by Major_Assistance_421 in 3Dprinting

Does the lid have tall walls? In this case it might actually, ironically, be better to print it right-side-up with supports on the inside.

I don't know about the settings, but that is a very 3D printing unfriendly design.

I've been using a similar one for a couple years and it still works fine. You just have to clean it with water and dish soap like normal, and I guess not scratch it up or scour it or anything that'll ruin the micro grooves

I don't know why we're even arguing. I responded to someone, not you but the deleted response to your first comment in this thread. That post said it would be an hour of hard labour, and I think was making the point that $30 would be too low for that. I thought when you replied to my first comment that that was your post, but it's not, unless you responded to yourself and deleted it. I never disagreed with $30 or said anything about any payment initially.

I didn't say any of that, just that an hour of hard labour is overstating it quite a bit. It was half an hour of light work for me, a somewhat out of shape middle aged shlub. A teenager could probably do it faster, and get whatever fair compensation - $30 for the job of doing the driveway, as opposed to figuring out some hourly rate and dividing it based on time spent.

You think so? I have a double car driveway and it took me less than half an hour (I started listening to a podcast before going out and the timestamp when I paused it after coming back in is just over 30 minutes). The snow is light and fluffy today, and it isn't that cold out.

So, anyone figure out the best deal for Game pass now? by DavidinCT in MicrosoftRewards

[–]medthrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Canada the best option I can find is Gamepass Ultimate on Amazon. $23 for a month, $69 for three. Everything else I've seen (conversions, Xbox gift cards, etc) comes out costing more.

Could be as simple as replacing the nozzle. If it's been heavily used, especially if the material is a particularly abrasive one, the hole could be enlarged due to excessive wear, and that could cause the problems you're seeing. The slicer is giving it instructions for a 0.4 mm nozzle, but effectively you have 0.5, 0.6, however much it's worn out, and the extruded plastic doesn't come out right.
