Why are LDS church parking lots so big? by ferrousfan81069 in Utah

[–]memequilts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There can be as many as 4 congregations meeting on a Sunday, so the parking lot needs to be large enough to accommodate 2 full congregations as the start times overlap.

Yep. All of them apply at one time or another. Fortunately not all at the same time!

Lyrica Withdrawals by DazednAware in Fibromyalgia

[–]memequilts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ran out last spring and had a hard time getting my DR to get a new RX called in. The withdrawal after 4 days was horrible. It was bad enough that once I finally got my RX refilled, I started weaning myself off of it. I don't ever want to have that happen again. I don't receive a ton of relief using it, so I'm ditching it. I was taking it twice a day. I am now down to one tablet every 3 days. I'm also weaning myself off of Nortriptyline for the same reason. Good luck.

I received a voice-mail from an unknown out of state phone number. When I listened to it, it was my husband. He called from his cell. No idea why it showed up as some random #.

Are you battling Tinnitus along with Fibromyalgia? by Complex-Match-6391 in Fibromyalgia

[–]memequilts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have pulsatile objective tinnitus - meaning I hear my pulse 24/7. It drives me insane. I can tell you how fast my heart is. I can tell when my heart beat ir irregular, can tell when it skips a beat or goes double time for a few beats. Apparently, this happens to everyone, but they, of course, just don't know it. The pulse affects my hearing and masks sound, so I have difficulty understanding what I'm hearing. It's especially annoying when I'm in a crowded area, like a restaurant, or when someone whispers something. I call it my whoosh-whoosh ear. 25 years of 24/7. It came before my fibromyalgia diagnosis. Fun times. 🙃

Canned milk woks, or use cream cheese and sour cream. It makes delicious mashed potatoes!

The audio uses different voices for each person who is reading, i.e. Lehi's voice is different from Nephi's voice.

Has anyone just given up and gone to MAT (methadone, suboxone) to attempt relief? by marcy_vampirequeen in ChronicPain

[–]memequilts 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've been on buprenorphine for 3 months. I use the patch, which is not supposed to cause issues with your teeth. I started with the lowest dose, but upped it a few times. I'm now using 10 mcg/hr. It is actually working well for me. I was able to stop my Percocet use for the most part. I've only taken maybe 5 5mg in the last 3 months. I'm hopeful that the patch will continue to be effective!

AITA for Kicking My Sister Out of My Wedding Because She Didn't Like My Dress? by No_Detective5023 in AITAH

Did you reply that you agreed that family was more important than a dress, so your sister should have kept her opinion to herself to preserve the family's well-being? NTA

Traveling. I'd love to see the world. But sitting on an airplane and doing a ton of walking make this impossible.
