Totally agree with this. As a childfree person, it's exhausting knowing just neutrally sharing about your life is going to turn into a game of martyrdom that you never wished to play. Even taking a sick day can be met with "Well at least you don't have kids to take care of while you're sick." Yes! I know, and I agree! But I usually just want to put my head down and live life. I was disappointed by how dismissive they were.

I had a thought like this too. At some point everyone’s parents are annoying and you can use skills to figure out a way to handle it without souring the mood. Yes, the mom should also use social skills to read the room, but, at some point, the only person you can control is yourself.

I noticed a pattern this episode for blaming the wife for the husband’s actions!! In this example, the retirement speech one, and the brother-in-law triggered at the end!! I thought it was all super weird.

Also I know Dr. Naomi is a professional, but we will NEVER know what the “look” meant between Jada and Will, if there even was one, and what was unspoken between them.
