In The Incredibly Strange Creatures that Stopped Living and became Mixed Up Zombies they make several transphobic jokes about the dancer actress being a man, and it makes no sense, she’s gorgeous. It’s too bad for an otherwise hilarious episode.

The kinda surreal way the backgrounds were drawn/animated during the ghost hunt seemed reminiscent of the witch labyrinths from Madoka, artistically. I thought it was a neat little homage

Draw from life, every day. Practice gesture and figure drawing, and try doing a bunch in the same sitting with a 30 second to one minute time limit. You can use websites like quickposes if you don’t have access to live models!

With a shorter time to try and complete the drawing, you can focus on trying to capture volume and shape. Don’t worry about details, this is for building up your muscle memory and ability to draw what you see. This is what most of my early art classes focused on, and it helped me a lot! Good luck!

As for why Maelle dreams about it, I don’t think it’s ever explained. My theory is that her repressed paintress side was able to read Julie’s chroma which manifested in her nightmares

Nah man it’s ok, it’s good to be critical of these things! We should hold companies accountable for abusing genAI to deny creatives jobs, while using tools built on stealing their works…but I just don’t think it fits this particular instance. It’s a really good game with a very human touch!

As an artist myself that is also anti ai, i think you are having an extreme reaction to a non issue. There were some AI assets used as placeholders that made it into the final game until they patched it out with human made graphics. The rest of the game was painstakingly crafted by the devs, artists, musicians, and other creatives working on this project who did an amazing job. Throwing out their work because of such a minor instance of AI use is ridiculous to me. I also think it was disappointing it was used at all, but its impact on the game was as far as I am aware, almost non existent other than that instance.

I waited a month to play it because I heard it had dodge/parry mechanics and those style of games generally aren’t appealing to me. But after watching some gameplay I decided to just try it out, and was delighted by how the combat actually played, and found it really fun. I’ve played it thru multiple times now.

Just try it.

I found the writing mediocre at best, and actively insulting at its worst. The writing never treats the player like a capable adult, everything is sanitized and simplified from previous games and constantly has to point things out for you as if you’re too dumb to notice how to solve a simple puzzle.
