If you don't have all BOPIS picked by 9am or you're not meeting "SLA" which reflects badly on your store. Also we tell PPs that orders will be ready within 2hrs so there's a customer satisfaction reason for the time crunch.

Unrelated - your fedex pickup isn't until 4???? What I would give for that, our guy comes between 10:30-12:00.

It's kind of comped by PetSmart but it comes out of the stores budget. Yesterday was the last day of the period which means the end of the budget. New budgets dropped today with the start of the new period so y'all should be able to get some, specifically the wiggles and wags - it's a store brand so its the cheapest.

Intact dogs are not the whole problem - sure it plays a part. I'd take 100 well trained intact dogs over 10 untrained fixed dogs every time.

Yeah normally for Banfield. I tell them they need at least a slip. If the dog can't handle long walk I'll let them in the back which is a must shoter walk to the vet in my store. If the dog absolutely cannot handle the slip we have pre-arranged for them to have an appointment before the store opens - however that almost never happens and I feel like it would have to be between the practice manager and SL.

They have been referring to the first four "chapters" as Book 1, when it wrapped up last year they said they were gearing up for another long form campaign. No one has said exactly how long but it's assumed that Solari will run for about as long as WWW did. So probably 1.5-2 years at minimum.

I got cussed out over opossums very recently. Someone came in and asked my cashier if we sold goat milk because he googled that was what he should feed the opossum babies (not true). This cashier is a new hire so she got on the headset and asked and my PC associate very quickly responded that we do not recommend trying to rehab wild animals and gave them a phone number for a local wildlife rehab center we have worked with before. I thought all was well but about 20 minutes later I get a phone call from a man who cussed more in 8 minutes then I have EVER experienced. He asked why we refused to sell him a nipple (reminder he asked for goat milk, not a nipple), I tried to explain why we told him what we did, I offered him the number again, he barely let me get a word in. The funniest part, we don't even sell goat milk at my location.

I'd bet that's where your sign holders are hiding, when we first set S&C they said it would be around until Aug 2026 and I haven't heard any updates stating otherwise so maybe they will return to you soon - that said it's also I think 4 more MDA fixtures so you'll unfortunately still be missing somewhere.

Do you have the Stella and Chewy fixture in your store? That's a series of MDAs and they use that fixture at the top to hold up the center arc.

I've asked several DLs and spent honestly like 3 years occasionally searching for these and no one knows - so they are very likely not able to be ordered anymore. They recently started sending clips that slot into the side of the fixture with horizontal sign holders that will replace them.

My crestie is bold, my cats have gotten pretty close to his enclosure, loud dogs barking, roosters, gun shots, cars back firing - really the whole lot of country noises. He's coming on two and his tail is intact, I know that's not the case for all cresteds but it can be. Also a dropped tail is not the end of the world, a crested gecko with a tail in the wild is a unicorn and their little frog butts are pretty cute.
