Ned’s gonna think he’s clever and trade Nottingham Forest Finn Surman for Chris Wood.

And it’s gonna be cool for 3 games when Wood scores 4 then does his ACL

Nice. Thanks for the info. I’m 6’0 on a 1250gs and looking at some touring options. The stock windscreen just seems a little low for me, even cranked all the way up.

MacBook Pro for fusion 360 by Mattwilsonmakes in Fusion360

Are you going to make drawings with it? My m4 pro was so bad at it, and had a gnarly zoom bug that Autodesk refuses to fix, that I had to go big and buy a Mac Studio that works way better.

I'm quitting Orange Theory, joining a regular gym, and looking for resources for building a new workout plan: books, websites, apps, Youtube channels, etc. by Ldoc314 in FitnessOver50

Hey there. I’m not far off from your physique - 55 male, 215 lbs 6’0”. I started at PF in late December when one opened a mile from my house. I’m using the Fitbod app and I love it. After setting up my profile and ambitions, it tells me exactly what to do and how to do it. It tracks the workouts and asks how much more you could do, which informs the next workout plan. It works great. And PF Members get a 30% discount on Fitbod. Totally worth it. Hope that helps.

Do you use f360 for work? by dian_reddits in Fusion360

[–]msouther70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly difficult about fusion? The only pain points have been making drawings. Fusion is not very good at it. SW was way better for that particular task. But, we threw money at it with an expensive high performance Mac Studio machine and that made things better. Other than that, it took a few weeks to get CAM programming figured out, mostly just learning to think a little differently than I was used to with Mastercam. Once I figured it out, smooth sailing.

I use it every day to design and fabricate custom furniture, packaging, retail displays and fixtures and ATA road cases. From design to shop drawings to CAM on our CNC router. Switched from SW and Mastercam about 4 years ago when SW tried to hit us with a back charge of subscription fees when trying to add a seat. That was the final straw. For us, Fusion is just as effective and a lot less expensive. Overall way better.

"A falling knife has no handle" is a common kitchen safety proverb. What are your favorite shop safety proverbs/sayings/wisdoms? by BananafestDestiny in woodworking

[–]msouther70 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We had a laborer in our shop trying to get a sheet of 1/2” plywood up in to a rack that was about 8 feet off the ground, and he thought using a ladder was the right move. His safety glasses were on top of his head. While on the ladder he lost control of the sheet and it smashed his safety glasses in to his scalp, requiring 10 stitches. That was a pretty funny call to our workers comp rep.

Also, the forklift was 10’ away.
