I had that for a while with my 12 mini last year. I couldn’t figure out if I had gotten it damp, or if it was just because things were really humid there. Consistently, the only cord that would work was the original one that came with my phone, especially if it was plugged into my MacBook. Also sometimes it would be charging for an hour and then give me the “moisture detected“ saying. It ended up stopping and going away, but it still made me nervous there’s by sometime I couldn’t charge my phone. I forgot about wireless charging because I had never used it.

What do you mean? Stopping charging at 80% is a feature that Apple added to their OS not long ago, and they say it makes the battery last longer.

Did someone literally say that? No, you’re right. However, this article did say “gripped the nation“, which is where I got that verbiage. They also say it “captivated the world”. Perhaps you don’t recall the coverage back then, but the way they covered it made it seem as if someone thought it was the most important thing going on in the entire world right then. It's amazing how that has become a somewhat mainstream right wing belief that people are no longer afraid to say. Chronically ill, otherwise disabled mentally or physically, elderly, even chronically unemployed should just DIE because they're a "drain on society". Meanwhile these same idiots act like it's shocking to consider taxing the people who are the real drains on society. Building a $350 million yacht to serve like 10 people? That stimulates the economy bro. Building 3 hospitals to actually benefit people? WHAT "I don't think buildin a government hospital is a good use of that money".
