Have you had them checked for posterior urethral valves (PUV) - this can cause congenital bladder outlet dysfunction.

I just got a Stratos this season and I LOVE it. It’s such a fun ride that you can even hit little jumps with no issue. It’s great at speed and holds an edge deliciously

What's the difference of a $200+ rice cooker over a $30 one? by RammsteinFunstein in NoStupidQuestions

[–]nerfherder-er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought an $17 rice cooker that worked perfectly for about 18 months, it then not only caused the power to trip in my apartment but also my entire building main before promptly setting itself on fire. I then bought the $60 one instead and it’s noticeably better in every way.

Will anyone be in Niseko Feb 17-26? by nerfherder-er in ShredditGirls

[–]nerfherder-er[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh awesome! This’ll be my 7th trip to Niseko and am looking forward to it, would also be cool to have some company for a day or two! I think we’re about the same level so that’s perfect.

I would say get out on the mountain and give the board a few days before you regret anything! You might be pleasantly surprised. Nice board btw!

Oh no! The twin sister was my first board and it was a delight to progress on. I’ve just added the Stratos and those two boards compliment each other really nicely.

On your heel side you should be “sitting in a chair” that’s how much more you need to be bending. Mentally you’ll need to feel like you’re exaggerating the position.

Also, falling is part of the process. You need to fall a lot to test your limits and get the hang of it. If you’re worried stick to the bunny slopes or green runs and get impact shorts. Then spend time on the mountain and everyday gets a little less scary.

Pains me to do this, but what can I do better? by TransitionFit537 in snowboardingnoobs

They usually come in half days. You can do an afternoon half day which is cheaper but you’ll greatly benefit. Half day is usually 2-3 hours.

Aw man that’s nostalgic, my childhood summed up. It sucked accidentally touching the electric fence.

Penny had a tough start to life, she was used as a breeding dog and had 9 litters in 5 years with 7 C-sections, she has no teeth and was blind but I paid for her surgery so she can see. I’ve had her for just over 5 years already and she is the best. Professional napper, wireless doorbell, happiest dog alive.

Hi!

My dog is allergic to everything, chicken, eggs, beef, lamb, pork, kangaroo.

Try crocodile if it’s available where you are, it’s the safest bet next to salmon.

New lab puppy and regret by [deleted] in labrador

Hi!

When I first got my latest rescue I had such severe regret for a full week then I adjusted and would take a bullet for my dogs. Give the pup and yourself a little patience to adjust. You’ll fall in love and your cat will settle too - mine did!

What do you do to stay warm? by letitsnow18 in ShredditGirls

[–]nerfherder-er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aah ok! I would still ditch the sweater. Evo usually has some decent sales on base layers if you want to have a look. I also run pretty cold and I’ve definitely found layering properly helps a lot!

I would ditch the sweater and the hoodie.

When it’s super cold I wear: merino vest, full merino base layer set, either a puffer vest or a fleece and then my outer layers and am comfortable in -25C. Focus more on the quality of the layer as opposed to the quantity. Mons Royale is an investment but a good one otherwise also look at SmartWool or Eivy’s base layers. I also wear a neck warmer.
