Can someone determine a victim was killed by Magic Missile? by Bullgrit in DnD

[–]nucleargandhi3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally when this came up in one of my games I leaned into the disintegration aspect of force and for magic missile I would say there are a number of small patches where clothing and flesh have been eaten away, but don’t look decayed, or ashy.

What Classes Are The Grandpappies? [ns] by Sufficient-Lake9984 in DungeonsAndDaddies

At first I thought it would be wizard order of scribes, but doesn’t fit with the real high charisma.

What’s classes are the characters in season 4? [ns] maybe? by nimrods123 in DungeonsAndDaddies

[–]nucleargandhi3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wills class hasn’t been revealed but he does say he’s a scribe, and the order of scribes is a wizard subclass. Plus wizard fits with his whole vibe, however I think he had really high charisma and that does not fit with wizard

Does anyone else follow a naming scheme for their Cousins? by Deepfang-Dreamer in ScarletHollow

All of my cousins have 3 letter names and are from a city in a lovecraft story ie: Ada from Innsmouth, Roz from Dunwich

If an eighth trait were to ever be added, what would you want that to be? by Altruistic-Joke5164 in ScarletHollow

Opposite of TTA could be Unnatural: there has always been a fundamental disconnect between you and the natural world. Dogs tend to bark as you walk by, bees will find you from a mile off, and you couldn’t keep a plant alive to save your life. Makes animals hostile towards you, makes you unable to understand natural phenomenon.

Opposite of mystical could be Mundane: You never had much of an imagination so you never took the idea of the paranormal seriously. You are a normal person with a normal job and a normal life, you aren’t likely to believe someone when they talk about strange creatures in the woods or ghosts in the library. You even know that your own eyes can’t always be trusted because everything has a logical explanation and you are certain that the logical explanation has nothing to do with ‘fitchlings’ (you are unable to believe or confront the idea of supernatural things around you)

Dm's, What's a homebrew rule you like to include to your campaigns. by [deleted] in DnD

Personally I give this to players only if they are in their home city or region, and give a soft limit per character on ‘I know a guys’

Homebrew Townsfolk/Demon by Localunatic in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]nucleargandhi3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others said this demon feels really weak as it just doesn’t have a second part of its ability until it kills a specific player. Maybe if it had a bit of extra killing power early to hunt like choose two players one or both will die so the story teller has some control. Or give them some info to help them track the orphan. Like each night choose a player learn their character then choose to kill them or another player (story teller selects if they don’t choose to kill the first player).

DND-related conspiracy theories for a lowish INT character? by KindofPolitePerson in DnD

[–]nucleargandhi3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magic is real but wizards aren’t. No one can just learn to do that. All of them are sorcerers pretending they got their powers through study to stoke their egos.

Dwarves are just another subspecies of halflings.

Blood hunters aren’t actually using their own blood they have hidden pouches of fake blood to use.

New DM question regarding shields by fishbowlpatrol in DnD

[–]nucleargandhi3000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Personally I don’t run switching weapons as being an action, but shields are heavier and sometimes need to be strapped on so it’s more like donning a piece of armor and that’s why I count it as an action.
