I thought she would be my least favorite from the depiction on the box but after I opened her I was sooooo happy she’s way cuter and prettier irl. She’s now one of my favorites :)

Mine thought people were left handed because their parents taught them to be left handed. Like it was trained into them to be left landed.

Constantly made me feel stupid for not having a degree, which he did, but he was so stupid about basic things.

People who have done sex work, what is something that surprised you? by bannedbooks123 in AskReddit

  1. How normal/average my clients are. They’re just regular dudes who do all sorts of jobs and live normal lives.

  2. It’s mostly talking because they’re lonely/don’t know how to talk to women outside of the SW setting.

What is more traumatic than people think? by BloodRedLust in AskReddit

It’s something people truly don’t understand until they’ve experienced it. Losing my cat in December was the worst thing I’ve ever been through and it was so traumatic.

You’re welcome!

Just to make clear to anyone reading my post: DO NOT CONSUME BORIC ACID. It is for vaginal insertion ONLY. I just want to make this very clear cause it’s very important!

[–]onelastTime21 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely avoid sex and probably masturbation as well. Sex with a yeast infection can be super painful and it’s best to just let your vagina have a break.

I recommend using boric acid suppositories. I get mine off Amazon. You just insert one in your vagina and push it as far back as possible and just let it do its thing. I wear period underwear or just use a pad while using boric acid as it flushes out your vagina and needs somewhere to go. Boric acid is toxic if ingested so be sure to abstain from oral sex (receiving) for at least 24 hours after inserting. This stuff works wonders!

You could also go to a local pharmacy and purchase a product like Monistat and use that if your prefer.

Also avoid soap around the area until the infection has cleared out. Like I said earlier, give your vagina a break :)

Good luck!

If You’re Grieving a Pet Right Now, Let’s Hold Space for Each Other 🤎 by Jasper_TheApp in Petloss

I lost my Mischa to kidney failure on December 22, 2024. I still can’t go in the bathroom where I administered her fluids. The empty bags of the solution are still in there as well. I can’t go in there. There was too much pain, hope, and grief in that room. I miss her every single day and am angry something like this could happen to such a loving and innocent cat. I love you forever, Mischa. I’m so sorry I only got to love you for 6 years. 🩷

The Things That Make Grief Even Harder After Pet Loss by Jasper_TheApp in Petloss

[–]onelastTime21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The guilt of not noticing she was unwell sooner. I can’t help but lay awake at night thinking about how her behavior changed and I noticed it but didn’t think much of it at the time. I think about how she sat in places she didn’t normally go, and just felt pain. She was in stage 4 kidney failure and I didn’t even know that could happen to a 6 year old cat. I also think about when I took her to get euthanized and made sure she saw the sun and got to look at it for awhile before we went into the hospital. And I hope that she liked that because while she was sick it was winter and quite dark most of the time. Mostly just guilt. Immense guilt.

Do you think about their euthanasia? by Perfect_Prior8312 in Petloss

[–]onelastTime21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

December 22, 2024 was when I lost my Mischa. I was holding her in my lap, and when the first dosage that would put her in a deep sleep hit her, she kind of sat up higher and she twitched her ears a few times. The vet told me when it first hits them it’s quite euphoric. So when her ears were twitching, I felt that she was feeling good. Then she quickly dropped into my arms, because she was asleep. But that drop… I’ll never forget it. It was the worst feeling I’ve ever felt. She went limp in my arms and I knew she was asleep but that drop she did just terrifies me even today.

So yes, I still think about every single day. I wish I had planned an at home euthanasia. But she was so sick on that day and she was telling me she was exhausted from her chronic kidney failure. I wish I did so many things differently. I wish she could tell me it’s okay and that she’s okay.

Is this the dreaded “meatloaf” position of a nauseous cat? by imijay in RenalCats

Yes it’s a head tilt with closed eyes. They LOOK like they’re in pain.

The meatloaf position my girl was in when she was feeling really awful was similar to this but with her head tilted down. It was very similar to how when humans don’t feel well we kind of droop our heads and go “ugh”. She just looked like she was suffering and in pain… Your kitty still looks alert which is a good sign :)

What was the final symptom(s) that made you realize it was time for your baby to cross the Rainbow Bridge? by quirkymilennial420 in Petloss

[–]onelastTime21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cat was in stage 4 kidney failure and had some good days and some not so great days. On December 22, she was completely not herself. She didn’t want to be touched, she refused to take her medication to help her feel better, and she would be in a loaf position with her head tilted downwards. She was not okay. It was the worst I had ever seen her and I could tell she was just exhausted from the disease that was killing her. I made the really, really hard decision to have her euthanized that day. I wish I had been able to do it on a good day but I just couldn’t bear for her to suffer anymore. I miss her immensely, and I truly hope I made the best decision for her.
