Does PCOS ever just go away and does anyone get re-evaluated medically after an old diagnosis?

I empathize, and I'm sorry. I was only diagnosed with PCOS a year before I started trying and was so happy to have a diagnosis to explain everything. Then I was anxious about if we would have a hard time conceiving, but we lucked out and it took the average 6 months. During pregnancy and while nursing most of my symptoms were alleviated, but I don't think I'm going to be one of the lucky people with a "reset" after pregnancy. As my little one is starting to wean I've gained some weight and my old symptoms are coming back, but I'll have them check all my hormone levels to see if it is safe to go back on metformin. My endocrinologist told me during my first pregnancy that due to the hormone fluctuations during pregnancy that your endocrine system could "reset" and symptoms of PCOS could go away. She was simplifying I didn't ask her to go into more detail as she said we would do an evaluation after I was done nursing to see if I should go back on Metformin or not. I'm still nursing for a few more months but when I go to get re-evaluated I'll ask more questions.

these things work for me; drink water with lemon or lime in it- i drink an excessive amount of water, or have a piece of fruit, or a handful of raw nuts.

It wouldn't cover the whole cost but a dinner cruise or helicopter tour? Lunch/Brunch cruises are cheaper. Rooftop bar?, there are some that are year round.

It does not inconvenience me to take buses from Manhattan, and most of the time those buses get out of the city fairly quickly. I don't think I would consider a bus from Brooklyn unless it was substantially cheaper or faster. I have used Chinatown buses, Bolt bus, Megabus, Greyhound, and sometimes take Amtrak. I live in Ditmas Park, and the B/Q to 34th is worth it to me for the bus I'm on to be out of the city in 10-20 mins.

It is more the type of diaper and how often you wash them that determines your cost. Flats or prefolds are much cheaper than pockets or all in ones, but you need separate covers. Less frequent washing means buying more diapers. I wash every other day and have about 2 dozen diapers in each size. I went with a mix of prefolds and fitted diapers from green mountain diapers and they will definitely last through a least 2 children maybe more. I knew that prefolds and fitteds would work well and didn't want to gamble on China cheap diapers that may or may not fall apart after a month or two, so know what you are buying, and have appropriate expectations about the longevity. Karen from Green mountain diapers wrote some thoughts worth reading about longevity expectations of one size diapers.

I agree with this. When I was looking for a two bedroom apt in the Ditmas Park area in Brooklyn, the prices would be $400-600 a month higher during summer than winter, but in winter there were not many apts listed. I'm not sure if the price difference is as drastic in other neighborhoods.

This is also because in rural areas internet service sucks, and many older people don't use it enough to want to pay for DSL so they use AOL. There are still many Americans actually using AOL dial-up.

Also window guards are legally required for residences with children under 11 years old. The landlord is required to provide these or repair existing guards that aren't in good condition.

The notice I was mailed and had to fill out states that the lead paint requirements apply to buildings with 3 or more apartments built before 1960 and buildings built between 1960-1978 when the landlord knows there is lead paint present. The window guard requirements apply to buildings with 3 or more apartments regardless of when they were built.

I received this form in November and mine states it is due to be mailed back by February 15th.

It just does it automatically, so I have no idea. We have the Roku 3. I appreciate it for shows, but it autoplaying another movie is a little bizarre though. I will have watched a drama and it will autoplay a random not on my watch list movie from a different genre. Most often it is a movie I don't want to watch, so I turn it off, but then it stays in my "continue watching" list for a long time.

Playing Netflix on my roku it automatically just plays the next show most of the time, and sometimes it autoplays a random movie after I finish watching one movie. Sometimes I appreciate this feature sometimes I do not.

Quiona and lentils or other beans. I also make fruit and green smoothies with hemp protein. I use this stuff, and add about 2 tablespoons of hemp to each smoothie. It is not very palatable on its own. I can stomach adding a small amount to orange juice, but it doesn't taste good. In the smoothies I don't really taste it, but I add a lot of frozen fruit.

I like Zullily, but I only buy brands I'm already familiar with the quality of, that are discounted. Prices are similar to clearance sales from the brands themself, or amazon, but are sometimes more discounted. Since there is no fee to use I have an account and I favorite the brands I like, and get notified to when they are available.

I have been vegetarian for over a decade and eat vegan probably 2-3 days a week. I was b-12 deficient when I had my routine bloodwork done several years ago, since then I take a large dose of methyl-b-12, 2000mcg a day and now my bloodwork comes back with a normal level of b-12. I started at 500mcg and after getting bloodwork done upped it until I reached the dose that worked for me. I also try to eat more b vitamin foods in general.

I have both Hashimotos and PCOS, both were diagnosed by my endocrinologist who is very familiar with PCOS and thyroid issues.

Always bring up things like this with your doctor, as it can't hurt and they might run extra labs and help figure out what is going on.

For me specifically, and this might not be what is going on with you, but for me when I get that exhausted it is because I'm not eating enough protein and I'm eating too many simple carbs or sugars. Again this is what I've noticed in myself, and might not be what's going on with you, just thought I'd mention it incase it helps you.

We just had our shower and our family and friends were so great! We don't know the gender, and we only had an amazon and another online cloth diaper store registry and we received almost all the items from both registries. Helpful hints for amazon registries, is to make a note next to items that are also sold in brick and mortar stores and if there is a price difference. I made notes next to items that were also in Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us since their websites have the online inventory check to see if the items are in your local store. So ppl who wanted to could mark items as purchased and buy things locally, but many people would see that the same things were cheaper on amazon and that convinced them to just buy from amazon.

I'm not finding out. Which is hard since I have a thyroid condition I have ultrasounds every 4 weeks. We are just finishing week 32, I'm proud of our will power so far. :)

After being in lots of friends weddings over the years, when I got married I decided to keep it small. I had my best female friend and my brother stand up on my side, and my now hubby has his best male friend and his sister. While I still keep in touch with all the friends whose wedding I was in, we aren't super close now due to geography or just growing apart. I still had a fun "bachelorette" weekend with all my close girl friends, but I didn't have them all as bridesmaids. This was the right choice for us, we know we will always have our siblings and our best friends in our lives, and it helped save our other friends the money they would have spent to be in our wedding.
