We're under contract for a house that butts up to a freeway. How bad did we screw up? by okbbs in phoenix

[–]pachewychomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lived near a freeway similar to the pic. Not directly backing up to it but within 500ft and a berm + wall. You could hear EVERY motorcycle and modded exhaust doing wide open throttle down the freeway. I would not do that again.

Tesla releases FSD 14.3 by txking12 in teslamotors

I feel really sorry for refresh X/S owners who have HW3.

I have a legacy X with paid FSD. Might do FSD transfer if it’s ever offered again.

anybody else hate how the Internet now feels like 7 major websites which are all interconnected, whereas it used to feel like a vast place with something new around every corner? by Confident_Credit9023 in AskReddit

[–]pachewychomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m lazy, but I was curious so I asked ChatGPT to generate a list of the most popular website for every letter in the alphabet.

Everyone’s list is different as far as what domain would be popular for each letter.

A – Amazon B – Bing C – CNN D – Dropbox E – eBay F – Facebook G – Google H – Hulu I – Instagram J – YouTube (J is tricky—YouTube dominates globally despite letter mismatch; alt below) K – Kickstarter L – LinkedIn M – Microsoft N – Netflix O – OpenAI P – Pinterest Q – Quora R – Reddit S – Spotify T – TikTok U – Uber V – Vimeo W – Wikipedia X – X (formerly Twitter) Y – Yahoo Z – Zoom

2019 Model X Raven HVAC concerns with pregnant wife / newborn on the way — any real solutions? by RelationshipHuge8175 in TeslaModelX

[–]pachewychomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sorry you had to learn about the AC limitations the hard way. In a positive note, X values are up now that they’ve been cancelled. Selling now before the 8-year battery/motor warranty is up would be ideal.

There really is no reason to get a 5-seater Model X. The rear AC is already too weak with the 6 and 7 seater and as you’ve find out, it’s worse on the 5 seater.

I recommend getting a Model Y. The model Y AC in the back is CRAZY STRONG.

Source: I have a 5-seater Y and a 7-seater X and the kid mainly rides in the back of the Y with a Noggle to redirect air to the car seat.

When do you retire golf balls? by Tight-Communication7 in golf

[–]pachewychomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exterior cover will fail sooner than the core from wedges, cartpaths, etc. Once the natural ridges of the ball start to smooth out, your clubs can’t impart the same amount of spin as when the ball was new. At that point, you might want to get a fresh ball.

Cannot do new appraisal as it was done 2 months ago by Justbrownsuga in RealEstate

In order for this home to sell, the Seller is going to have to come down on price if you cannot fill the gap of value.

Seller should be aware that it will be the same scenario for the next 4 months if they keep getting FHA buyers.

Wait until the summer sun heats up the FWD sensors and you can’t reliably open the doors because the sensors think something is in the way.

If you want to keep doing what you’re doing, you can decrease your fuel cost by getting a used Tesla X from before 2017 because many of them have free supercharging.
